I always play handheld I don't really like playing on a big screen. Plus it feels like I am playing on a small handheld gaming device like a 3DS :)

I'm clumsy, so docked. I've dropped my Joy-Con a couple of times so... that's not gonna happen with my Switch...

Plus, I love it big! HD graphics, baby! Even if the graphics still looks simple.

I only play handheld. I don't own a television so its obviously the only way to go lol

I have a Switch Lite so always handheld, I really wish I had a full Switch consols though

Almost always handheld. I've played on the tv a few times, but usually my son or husband will want to watch something or I like to have the tv on in the background while I play. I'd like to play more often docked because the image is nicer on the tv and I can use a controller, but handheld is more convenient.

Most of the time, I play the game in docked mode with pro controllers since joycons usually have this “drift“ problem.

I play my switch mostly docked, so ACNH is usually docked. The only time I play handheld is when I want to watch something on TV while playing ACNH on the same time.

what capture card do you use?

Until just last month, I'd been using the Elgato Game Capture HD the last 5-6 years. Now I'm using Elgato HD60 S since I happened to stumble across an unused one for a good price.

It's important to note though, in case I caused some confusion, you don't need a capture card to accomplish what I do to play Animal Crossing at your desk

90% of the time I’m just a desk gamer playing handheld. Sometimes I’ll play it tabletop with my pro controllers if my drift is really bad. I’m mostly too lazy to move locations to my big TV downstairs, but I prefer to play in my room anyways.

Mostly handheld. Though, when I do play docked it's nice to see my ideas on a larger scale. Kind of just puts things into perspective for me.

i have a switch lite, so i’m only able to play handheld lol. i don’t mind, though, since playing handheld is what i’m used to and is one of the reasons why i opted for a lite rather than a regular switch. : )

I play it in both modes, but mostly docked. I do prefer playing it in docked mode as I do prefer playing all my video games on my TV when possible, though it's nice playing it in handheld whenever I want to use my TV for something else, or when I want to play my Switch when I'm not in my room.

I play exclusively handheld, someday I may play docked if I ever get a better TV but for the past few years it's just been handheld because it's more convenient for me, and it's kind of a hassle to get it all set up to play docked. Plus I don't have a pro controller.

Definitely handheld. I've only played ACNH once or twice docked and it was mostly cause I was playing online with friends and my battery was dying.

cools thank you and yup, mine is docked on the desk with the feed going directly into the monitor, just the monitor doesn't have any audio out so it's headphones with either the PC sound (I don't use speakers) or the Switch.

Always handheld, it makes it feel more close/cozy, makes me consider getging the oled but idk. The only reason id do docked would be for the different controller feel.
