I edited it with the photos.Yes, please also include progress photos of your drawing!
Perhaps some members will have better suggestions, but a common method is to design it separately and at a bigger size, then shrink it down and place it on top of the background (and in this case, into the egg shape). Of course, the tricky part with collectibles is that details are often lost or muddled when making it so small, so that's one of the things worth considering while designing it. When it comes to layering images together, free software such as Photopea may be useful (Photopea is also browser-based, which is convenient). Is there a recommended way for downloading the template or making the egg? They seem a bit small and hard to use.
Yes!Is a timelapse okay for progress photos?

Unfortunately im not good at small/pixel art, so I wish I could’ve made a higher quality egg. But i still think its cute!
It doesn't have to be a time lapse, but at least something that shows your work and helps prove it was created by you. For example, you could save a few versions of it as you work on it to show what it looked like before finishing.Ohh this looks like fun! I'll have to think of something.
For the time lapse, do you mean like a screen shot of the amount of time it took? Or physical images?
Hey there, please make sure the final submitted version is the small collectible size (28x28) and also contains the border. (Feel free to edit your post.)Oatchi that’s my doggy that’s my baby that’s my funny little buddy! This was a fun challenge, especially since the Egg Hunt is my favorite event!
Fixed! Thank you for letting me know and be able to update it!Hey there, please make sure the final submitted version is the small collectible size (28x28) and also contains the border. (Feel free to edit your post.)
For the border, you could either use the image for the blank Easter collectible with border in the first post, or simply add a black 1 pixel border at 33% opacity. The border sometimes affects how the actual collectible is sized and placed into the square.
Also, I thought I would talk about egg shape in case anyone asks. While we would like the eggs to keep the same shape as the other egg collectibles, it's okay if some pieces stick out a bit. Some of the existing egg collectibles are like this. However, the overall oval shape should match with the existing ones for the sake of consistency. (Imagine if we were to animate all egg collectibles together, excluding the old Classic Easter Egg. It would look like the same egg flashing between different variants.)
