I managed to get almost all of the farm work done after work.

I fixed a few things around the house. They all took a some time, but it's just a nice feeling to get something like a toilet that is leaking from the back and bottom fixed without much hassle. Guess all those years of plumbing finally paid off.

My cactus pads came in the mail so I'm going to root them and hopefully I can plant them this spring

One more day left of work and then I'm going to have a day off. So that's going to be nice.

☪︎ i received the art of my island rep/alter ego that i commissioned from @/k o i yesterday, and it’s genuinely one of the cutest and prettiest artworks i’ve ever seen!! she made her look so pink and shiny, i‘m in love i can’t wait to use it for my aesthetic once spooky season is over!

ִ ࣪𖤐 october is finally here, and i finally get to display my spooky aesthetic for this year!! i’ve had this aesthetic planned since last year’s halloween ended LOL, and i’ve been itching to get to use it ever since. getting my lineup the way i wanted it took some date-trading, but i’m so grateful to everyone who date-traded with me, and i’m happy that i finally get to display the beautiful spooky art of my island rep that @/allainah made for me last year!! i’m not 100% happy with the colours in my signature, so i might change them, but overall i’m very happy with how my aesthetic looks!! i also may or may not be already thinking about my halloween aesthetic for next year LOL

𐦍 i’m super excited for this year’s tbt halloween event!! i’m a little sad that it won’t be a halloweaster egg hunt i may be in the minority, but the egg hunts are one of my fave events and i love them no matter how insane they can be xjdjndjfjsj, but i’m still beyond excited to see what this year’s event will entail!! i’m especially excited about it starting on friday the 13th! i also can’t wait to see what new halloween collectibles will be unveiled this year!! i’m personally hoping for a new wand; maybe a ghost or a lollipop wand, or even an angel wings wand to go with the potion? the possibilities are endless!!

☾ my dear friend Merielle told me yesterday that one of my favourite games, spooky’s jumpscare mansion, released on the switch last year… how did i not know sooner , so i of course bought it and have been having fun slowly replaying it!! it’s been a while since i’ve played the computer version, so most of my playtime so far has been spent reacquainting myself with the game and getting used to its mechanics on the switch, but i’m having fun! i’ve never been a big fan of playing games on desktop, so getting to play one of my favourite games on a handheld console for the first time has been amazing!! it’s like playing it for the first time all over again, and i love that i get to do it during spooky season!! i’ve already died a couple of times and have had several heart attacks thank you specimen 2 and endless hallway smh, but i’m having a blast and am looking forward to playing more tonight!

☪︎ i went for a walk with my dad this afternoon! it was a short walk since we just went down to the gas station at the end of our street, but it was still nice to get out and stretch my legs for a bit!

☾ I woke up to a sweet message from my favorite person. I was stressing about today and she knew that, so she had something drawn for me to make my morning a little better. I should’ve known when she asked my favorite character from Yu Yu Hakusho, lmao. I thought it was just casual conversation, but I see she had plans, haha.

☾ Today went a whole lot better than I was expecting. It wasn’t that busy which likely contributed to things going as smoothly as they did. The next shift I clock in for will be at a different store and I’m excited. It’s just a much better environment for me overall. I also have tomorrow off, so it's a nice break.
☾ I boxed up a package tonight to be shipped out tomorrow. The box I had was just the right size which rarely happens, so that was a relief.
☾ I washed my sling bag today which was much needed because I had a brilliant idea of putting a Taco Bell burrito inside of it. In my defense, it was poorly wrapped.

Today I'm happy because:

- I had an easy work day for my first day back from vacation. I cleared out about 150 emails and completed the most important tasks.
- My dog was super happy about me going back to work today. I don't know if I should be happy about that, but it was cute seeing him all excited when he realized I was going to my home office. He just likes it when things are 'normal'.
- My mom texted me that she's got 4 new feral kittens showing up at her door. She said the mama cat brought them to her this morning like she was showing them off. She's put a box with a blanket out for them to sleep in at night.

☾ The Stardew Valley 1.6 hype got to me ahaha—there's a few things I want to wait to do until the update of course, but I did decide to start a new file with the goal of eventually collecting all the hats! And so Hattie of Millinery Farm was born.
☾ My family and I started to watch GeminiTay's new Decked Out Phase 3 movie on her second channel! We only got through the first couple of runs this time, but I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of them!
☾ I was also able to make it to the 900th floor of Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion this evening!! Looks like I should be finishing up the base game next time

- I have a big group assignment due in a couple days and I managed to offer myself to make the whole animation aaa. I’ve never animated before but my friend whose studying animation rn called me today to explain the editing program they recommended, which helped a lot, and I’ve almost finished, other than putting in the references! I’m pretty proud of how it’s turned out. I know it’s not a complicated animation, and it’s kinda boring bc educational, but I’m happy I’ve managed to do it and that I’m not letting my group down!
- Went for a walk with my dad and brother tonight which was nice
- My sister made some nice chocolate cake and I was able to have a piece after dinner!

• Bought some new flavours of porridge: Chocolate Orange and Caramel Fudge. Haven't tried them yet, but looking forward to them!
• Also, bought Blossom some more Christmas/Halloween goodies. (They won't last until Christmas and Halloween. ) There wasn't much for sale for Halloween. I wanted to buy her a pumpkin coat but only had small and medium. I will not give up! Watching her eating a doggy Mince Pie really made me smile. She would have won an World Record for how quickly she wolfed it down!
• Blossom's new harness arrived, as she's growing out of her previous one.
• Had a headache all day yesterday, but it feels a lot better today.

☪︎ i gave away the rest of my unused common flower collectibles!! i’m happy to have a slightly smaller inventory now, and even happier that they went to someone who’s putting them to better use!! it honestly makes me so happy whenever i see new people get into collectibles; it’s a crazy ride once you get your first (those cute little pixels are so addictive!!), but it’s so lovely to be able to contribute to the start of someone’s collection!!

ִ ࣪𖤐 i won 500 tbt from @Jhine7’s eagle eye pursuit giveaway/contest! i woke up before noon just so i’d be around when it started haha, and i’m so happy that it paid off!! an eagle icon hunt is just as fun as an egg hunt imo i’m forever so in awe of how generous this community is, and am so grateful for the bells; i’m still working to save up tbt for my very expensive dream collectibles and art, and this has helped a lot!

𐦍 my mom posted this adorable photo of bonk from last year that i’d never seen before; look at this sweet, sleepy baby!! i also got a cuddle from her today, and she was so sweet and affectionate she kept rubbing her head against my foot and purring loudly, and was just overall the sweetest little kitty i love her so much

☾ i continued playing spooky’s jumpscare mansion! i’ve made it to room 300; i had a close call with mr. goopy aka specimen 2 cornering me and almost taking me out, and then specimen 3 aka big ass spider almost took me out, but sadly it was specimen 5 that ended up finally getting me i ended up in 2 abyss maze rooms (which i can barely see in normally smh) while he was chasing me and causing hallucinations, so it was over for me LOL. but i was able to save a few minutes beforehand, so thankfully i didn’t lose too much progress!! i’m still having fun, though i’m definitely regretting saying earlier that specimen 5 was so far the easiest to get away from

𖤓 i plan on buying a famous mushroom from the shop tonight! i thought it’d be cute to buy it at 11:11pm because y’know, angel numbers lol, and today is mean girls day, so what better way to commemorate that than with a cute famous mushroom!! i’ll be sitting the gacha part out this time, but i still want to grab myself a 2023 shroom for lineups; i already have some ideas!

☪︎ i finally sorted through my collectibles and lineup ideas google doc to see which collectibles i don’t currently have lineup ideas for! i’ve been meaning to do this for a while, so i’m happy i finally got around to it! i think this will make deciding which collectibles to sell/give away a bit easier, and it’s given me a visual idea of which of my collectibles i like, but don’t really know what to do with

Today I'm happy because,

- I got up early and was productive at work.

- Found out that my eye problem was just a mild case of bell's palsy. I have some steroids now to start getting back to normal!

- I loved on my kitty and let her into my room.

- The Texas Rangers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays in Wild Card Series game 1 4-0!! I picked Rays to win the series before it started, so I'm shocked, but very, very happy. Just need to win one of the next two to advance now.

- The weather is very nice outside.

☾ I finished hemming my pair of blue jeans for work. I'm proud of how neat they look considering everything was done by hand.
☾ I played tons of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe today while still being able to catch up on some sleep. It was a much needed day off.
☾ I'm excited for hockey to finally be back. I don't care for preseason but it's been so long. Now, I'll have something else to blabber about.
☾ I was productive today, vacuuming my room and uploading my tracking number for the package I shipped out this morning.

I've been distracted lately and forgot to mention quite a few things that made me happy. oops

So here's everything that's made me happy the past few days:

- I've seen some very cute dogs on our afternoon walks. One put his paws up on top of the fence to look over at us. He had one ear up and one ear down which I always find adorable. I saw a chihuahua wandering the neighborhood today and helped it reunite with its human.
- I found another dragonfly wing in my backyard. I picked it up and kept it. I guess I'm starting a collection.
- I saw a bunch of squirrels outside today. They were gathering nuts and chasing each other around.
- I helped my husband write a new resume. Now he can start applying for jobs again.
- One of our friends said that he enjoyed the trivia game I put together.
- I'm feeling much more creative lately and it's invigorating.
- I finally beat a difficult boss that I was struggling with in Kena: Bridge of Spirits.

☾ I played through the summer performance in my current playthrough of Jack Jeanne, and have just started on the summer break!
☾ Also spent a little more time on my new Stardew Valley file! I'm still mainly just getting Hattie set up, but I'm enjoying the early game again! ^^
☾ And I was able to finish the base gamemode of Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion this evening!! I'm looking forward to starting the Karamari Hospital DLC next time.

☾ My family and I watched some Youtube videos today too! My mom was watching a live-action Minecraft fan-film earlier today and I joined her for most of it (they had such an adorable little Labrador puppy playing the pet wolf ), and this evening we all watched some more of GeminiTay's Phase 3 Decked Out runs on her second channel!

I still had $96.00 on a card I got for my birthday back in June, so I bought some points with it (they are a currency on DeviantArt you can spend on commissions and Core). I plan to commission my bestie Ashton to draw/redraw/edit some character portraits, including some of my OCs that I plan to give glow-ups once Gacha Life 2 comes out (it will have a lot more assets, colors, adjustment options compared to the preceding Gacha Club, so that is why I am planning on giving my OCs glow-ups). I mean, I do think of some of my own stuff to have Ashton draw in these commissions, but these OC creating apps, especially the upcoming Gacha Life 2 can still help. <3333

I met my niece at the park today with my mother-in-law. She turns two soon (we share the same birthday amazingly) and is already so vocal, intelligent, and always down to try new things!

I'm happy I got to spend time with her today.

- Had such a tough day yesterday, was super ill with a bad cold but had to go into uni for 6 hours of classes...so I'm happy I managed to sleep for 11 hours last night I guess??

- Super pleased for my brother, he's finally moving into his new house next week!

- The weather's been pretty decent today, no rain and even a little sunny
