Finally was able to catch up with this thread, it's so nice to hear everyone's happies the past week I hope you're all having a lovely day

- Today I had a pretty chill day with my mum and sibling, ate some chips, played Codenames, cooked dinner, and kind of went in the pool (with the heat + pool cover on for the past couple days, it was very warm in the water). Lovely to spend time with them

- Called my partner and played some genshin together before bed

- The new event looks like a lot of fun!! Hoping I can get my brain in order to put in the effort I want to. I appreciate the staff so much for the insane amount of effort that is put into events, especially considering how many are planned for this year!

As a followup to my post about getting the new cat, here she is, I named her Mocha, she's terrified I'm sure due to all the changes with her owner passing away a few weeks ago and being alone in the apartment there but she's here now, I know it will take a few months for her to adjust and I'm very patient. I love her already and she is so adorable, so I'm happy she's here

My student finance issues have finally been resolved

I only just saw this now, congratulations!! Student finance is a pain in the butt and ik you've been dealing with it for a while now, so glad you can finally have some mental peace

- Received my associate degree from college via email and I made it on the Academic Honors List since I got a 3.3 GPA. Now, I can't wait to transfer to university this year, woohoo!

☾ I watched an episode of Hunter x Hunter with my parents this morning, and we saw GeminiTay’s newest Hermitcraft episode later on as well!

☾ I got out ACNH for the first time since the holiday event so I could make my entry for Flicker & Fortune, which was a ton of fun to work on! Although trying to time the fireworks with the party popper animation was more of a struggle than I thought it was gonna be ;w;

☾ And I got to relax a little this evening and play though another day in Rune Factory 5 on my file with Murakumo!

I'm happy today because of the new TBT event in which I'm planning to participate when I went back home after vacation.

I'm also happy that I went to have a fun vacation out of town this Lunar New Year!

Mostly, I'm happy that I got the art that I commissioned from one of the amazing artists on tbt, namely @Mistreil !

Mistreil's art has done my character so much justice especially the art style, and it's amazing!

(Definitely not me staring at the art commission and laser focusing on all the artistic details with admiration aaaaa)

-My mom was upset today but I took her out to do things and made her feel better
-Celebrated my sister in law's birthday with the family which was nice. I got her pokemon cards and my mom made her a scarf and blanket. She seemed really happy with both~
-FINALLY hatched a shiny oshawott I've been trying to get for my dlc team (yes now I can finally get started lol)

- I decided to take a hiatus from the forum, but I'm back now. Wasn't sure how long it was going to last, but I realized I just needed a few days to myself, haha. When I left all I did was change my user title and signature, so that'll probably be standard procedure for when I take breaks in the future!

- I had a productive week. I went to martial arts on Monday, and had personal training at the gym three days this week. My body is definitely looking more fit!

- I gave my kitties their special food earlier, and also helped my family trim their nails for the first time ever! They're definitely happy cats now.

- The Dallas Mavericks have won four games in a row, and the Dallas Stars have taken 1st in the NHL Central Division as well for now.

- Finished Lantern Rite in Genshin Impact and it was a LOT of fun. I noticed the forum is having a LNY event as well! I'm unsure how much I'll participate, but I may attempt a few of the events, lol.

- Speaking of Animal Crossing, I dusted my ACNL town from 2013, Port, off for the first time in a year! It's already a really nice town, but I'm going to be playing and working on it more in preparation for the "Farewell New Leaf Online" event coming up in March on this site. When I logged on, I happened to snap a picture of the northern lights!

- No matter what you're using it for, I hope everyone here is enjoying their weekends to the fullest!

• Finally, got a chance to start playing 'Disney's Dreamlight Valley'! I bought it between Christmas and New Year, but not had a chance to play it until now! I'm not a huge Disney fan, but I absolutely love it. So far, I've met Merlin, Scrooge McDuck and the adorable Goofy. I found the golden tools, and I'm up to the point of trying to catch a fish. I know how to cast my line, but having a little difficult after that when 'press A' comes up, so I will need to try and find sometime to catch a fish with Goofy today. The graphics are phenomenal and the soundtrack. I loved when I heard 'When You Wish Upon a Star'. Can't wait to play more!
• Blossom was in a very snuggly mood in the evening, and stretched herself across my lap.

It must be great to be able to go to sleep and have your own built-in face mask!

• My friend stayed over the night before. My partner had been elsewhere overnight, but she came home with croissants for all three of us. It was nice to just sit with breakfast and coffee and chat for an hour before getting on with the day.
• They both made fun of my excitement when my Lego delivery came. I bought this with a voucher my partner got for me Christmas.

• Had a lovely evening in with my partner. We ordered dinner from one of our favourite restaurants and spent quality time together.

- Had a niiice relaxing day today, slept a lot, lazed around watching YouTube, and made pancakes for breakfast (pancake day isn't until Tuesday but I'm a rebel), ate a BBQ chicken fajita with corn on the cob for dinner

- In general I'm just happy I'm still doing okay at university and that all the airline seat business got easily sorted out it makes my OCD happy to resolve problems i think?

- Kind of glad I'm working a shorter shift tomorrow that ends at 1:15pm so I can go home when its still light outside

Hi friends! I hope you’ve all had a peaceful weekend and a lovely start to the Lunar New Year, whether you’re celebrating irl or just on TBT! I‘m sorry for spamming y’all’s notifications earlier; it’s been a few days since I’ve checked in here, but I’ve missed reading everyone’s posts so much! I hope this upcoming week is kind to you all.

𓇢𓆸 I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of time in the What’s Bothering You? thread this week, but I think the situation with my parents has finally been resolved! The email that I sent to them both was received as well as it could have been, and the past day has been a little more peaceful here. I’m still not feeling the greatest mentally or emotionally, and the past week has definitely taken a toll on me, but I’m hoping that things will be a little better from here on out! Or at least better enough that I can shut up in the WBY thread for a while. But jokes aside, I am so beyond grateful to this lovely community and to all of my beautiful friends here for all of the kindness and patience I’ve been shown this week. I am appreciative beyond words for all of the messages that I’ve received, and for everyone who took the time to read my posts. You‘ve all heard me when my parents haven’t or couldn’t, and I am forever grateful to you all for that. I love and appreciate you all so much, thank you.

𓇢𓆸 Speaking of my beautiful friends, the beyond amazing @.: Meri :. and @Zerous both surprised me with some gorgeous art this week!? I already said this to Zerous this morning, but saying “thank you” 1000 times wouldn’t even begin to convey just how grateful I am. I’m gonna have to start offering up my firstborn child or my limbs or something atp xnskdnjd, I’m just so, so beyond grateful and undeserving. Making art for me is never necessary, but the fact that my beautiful friends spent their precious time and talents to draw something for me is a gift that I will always cherish. I’m so touched and grateful, thank you both so, so much again, from the entirety of my heart.

𓇢𓆸 Cozy Grove has been a tremendous comfort and distraction for me this week! Nothing super exciting has happened in-game since my last post, but I’ve met a new bear (Lee Berry Dennings, a hoarder farmer who looks like corn!!), levelled up Mocha, my now adult Spiny Bird, upgraded my tent to level 6, caught 3 new fishes and a new critter, bought new clothes, earned 7 new badges and learned some more new crafting and cooking recipes!

𓇢𓆸 Melanie Martinez released her music video for “Faerie Soirée” the other day!! I only had a chance to watch it yesterday, but I loved it! I was so happy that it started with ”Tunnel Vision”’s outro, and the choreography and effects were gorgeous as always! I have no idea how Melanie is juggling two tours, the launch of her merch and parfum lines and creating and releasing music videos, but she’s absolutely killing it! So so excited to see her in June!

Cozy Grove looks adorable. I assume that's the same game the picture in your profile bio is from? I'm very drawn to the game's aesthetic, so I'd be open to at least looking into it. Additionally, I'm happy to see you blessed us all with photos of Bonk. She looks like she's posing in the second photo, like "LOOK AT ME! I'M BEAUTIFUL."

The screenshot in my profile is actually from Mail Time! Both games do kind of have a similar style, though Mail Time is definitely more colourful (at least right now ).

I’m always happy to share photos of Bonk! I’m so happy that others enjoy seeing her as well! She’s either posing or being silly, there is no in-between with her LOL

-sighs- yesterday morning was awful my poor taxi driver had a car crash luckily he could still take me to work. Here’s what happened a lady ran a red light and went into the taxi a bit on one side luckily they’re were no injuries and I’m also fine. I did get upset that it actually happened

Oh goodness, that’s so scary! I can’t imagine how scary and upsetting that must’ve been for you and everyone else involved, but I’m so glad that no one was seriously hurt! I’m also glad that you were able to have a great day at work in spite of it.

- Donut is back to her usual self, thankfully. She was sick for a while yesterday after getting into something on her walk

☾ This was a couple days ago and I just totally forgot to mention it aksd;lsdjfd but I love that the Magical Fireworks came back for Lunar New Year, and I was finally able to get one!! I skipped out the last time they were available (during the 2022 fair iirc?) and have kinda been kicking myself for it a little bit ;v;

☾ Watched Hunter x Hunter and the new One Piece episode with my parents this morning and ohh my god both episodes were really intense. We also watched some Youtube later which was a lot more lighthearted ahaha

happy because I’m feeling a lot more clean now after a shower and my hair is slowly getting back to normal. decided to keep the bangs after all, so I’m trying my best to get my hair back into position with the part in the middle and the bangs nice and neat and fluffed up. I was gonna grow the bangs out and try to part my hair on the side, but it just wasn’t working out too well, but to be honest I’m glad I gave up. my hair feels normal now that I put it back into place and that’s all I could ever ask for.

• Managed to play some more of Dreamlight Valley. It looks very pretty during the day, but my favourite time is when it’s dark, I think it looks even better! I caught Goofy a fish, then I wandered into Mickey Mouse’s house! I helped Mickey out by removing the Night Thorns. Found the Golden Shovel. Upgraded Goofy’s stall, and also upgraded Scrooge McDuck’s house. Need to collect 10,000 coins before I can do another upgrade and find a recipe for Mickey. Seriously, I think this could end up being one of my favourite games!
• Caught up with some tidying and dusting, hopefully I’ll get a little more done later today.
• I was wondering why Buck wasn’t replying to my letters in New Leaf, I had convinced myself he didn’t love me or Pelly and Phyllis weren’t delivering the mail correctly! The lovely @Mr_Keroppi helped me out yet again! I finally learnt how to attach a gift to a letter! I have send Buck a letter with a gift attached, and If I don’t get a reply I will follow Mr_Keroppi and send him a fruit everyday! Thank you Mr K!
• Blossom had an attack of the zoomies before bedtime. It is always hilarious to see a Basset Hound running around the house!

☆ Went to a comedy show with my best mate. There was a blind date happening on stage followed by improv based on content that came up during said date. Great fun!

☆ Met my partner for a drink before heading home. I actually ran into her on the way there: I sat down on the subway, heard my name, and looked up to see her and a friend sat across from me.
