What do you collect?

I'm so ready to start collecting amiibo cards when the packs are finally re-released! Just hope I catch some before they're sold out
They flew out the doors in my city. It was an insane craze! I hope you can get some too before the scalpers hoard them.

When I went to America in 2014 (New York City plus the State of New York & Orlando, Florida). I took an interest in collecting the quarter coins because it had engravings of different state on the back. I would hoard the quarter coins or ask for change in quarters and look for different designs of different states (year of production also mattered) and before I knew it, I had a collection of American quarter coins

Other collection that I have a mild interest in is probably collecting board games but in this day and age, it's hard to find like-minded people to sit down and enjoy a boardgame session without the interference of electronics

Hedgehogs, I have so many. Plushes, figures, cards, books... Def my favourite animal.
I collect pokémon stuff too, I'm starting to have a decent collection.

Travel stories, especially in Japan. I've been keeping track of every place I've stayed in the country ever since my first trip there.

Literally the day the Japanese government gives American citizens the OK to return, I'm booking my next flight. I miss my homeland!

I'm pretty minimalist in the stuff I own but I have a small keychain collection! Mostly just little walgreens type plush keychains (like the little squishmallow ones n stuff) but I think they're cute.

Me and my boyfriend collect all the rave or festival wristbands or VIP tags to the ones we've been to

I collect foreign currency (I've got a euro coin, some Costa Rican colone coins, a ton of Canadian coins, and some more hehe)
It's kinda weird because I don't really care about it, but every time I find a bit of money that isn't US currency, I put it in a jar and let it sit there lol

But, I also collect Copics from my days of dreaming of being an artist!! I still draw a lot, and I'd consider myself to not be terrible at it, but I don't really care about it as much as I used too-yet I cannot resist picking out a Copic marker whenever I find a selection in a store!

I collect shells from my favorite beach in NJ! I collect just random shells that I think are pretty, I also collect sea glass when I get the chance! I go to the rocks jutting our from the beach and sometimes I find conch shells, but those are a rare find. (If you are wondering where I go it’s called Cape May on the tip of New Jersey, it’s a gorgeous beach and it feels like home!)

Movie ticket stubs. I don’t know what I’m going to do with them exactly but I have a ton and I just slip them into an envelope in my drawer. Also fortunes. I guess I collect tiny pieces of paper if we’re really getting down to it.

Basketball cards! I'm a huge NBA fan and have over 5,000 base cards, dozens and dozens of complete sets (including 2013-14 Prizm, which includes the $300 Giannis Antetokounmpo rookie, and 1996-97 Topps, which includes the Kobe Bryant rookie), several player personal collections (over 1,000 different cards of Antoine Walker among them), a team personal collection (OKC Thunder, which includes a Russell Westbrook Chrome rookie), and various other projects. Other notable cards include a triple autograph of Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and Julius Erving (only 3 printed from that particular set--the ones numbered to 5 and 10 go for about $500 on eBay), Tracy McGrady PSA 10 graded Chrome rookie, McGrady Spectra auto, Bill Russell Exquisite auto, and Tom Gugliotta rare Credentials parallel from 1997-98. I also have a few MJ and LeBron, of course!

Oh these are all so cool to see! It's so fun to see everybody's collections. I tend to hold onto a bunch of things, but the only one I *intentionally* collect are pins! I don't like t-shirts very much, so I try to pick up pins from places/events I've seen. I play the ukulele, so they all go on my uke case. It's so much fun! :)

i really like collecting markers for some odd reason!

Plants and dreamcatchers. Not enough to call it collecting really, but it's the closest.

i collect kewpies and currently in the process of collecting each smiski from all the sets!
