brush my teeth, do skincare, have a cup of tea & usually either listen to music or watch an episode of a favorite TV show. i'd like to read more (also in general) before bed but it just hasn't happened yet
Brush teeth, wash my face, moisturise my face, use the loo, make sure my alarms set. Sometimes talk for too long with my partner while staring at the ceiling lay in bed. I kind of like those talks - because it's just us and nothing else. Sometimes I'll browse reddit for a while but I try not to otherwise I struggle to sleep. Put some ambient sound on - I usually like rainfall noise and then fall asleep.
i almost always solve a spider solitaire in bed before falling asleep, idk why but i just do it and then i usually put my phone and/or ipad down and try to sleep
tell my dog its bedtime and get him in the bed, brush the teefs, chose which stuffed animal to snuggle if my dog doesnt wanna (i cant sleep without something to hug), scroll thru the internet or have insomnia and just lay wide awake for hours and give up trying to sleep
The last thing I do before getting into bed is take a shower! Then once I'm in bed I'll go on my phone and watch YouTube/twitch videos to get sleepy and then go to sleep.
Recently, face pack while I watch a tv show or browse YouTube. It’s been harder to fall asleep recently but lying down with a face pack almost always puts me to bed by time I have to take it off.
Check my locks & that porch lights are on, turn off any indoor lights, brush teeth, wash face, tell my two feline overlords goodnight (yes out loud, but I'm a crazy cat lady so it's okay), check that the thermostat is set at the right temp, read my daily devotionals & the Bible, pray.
before I go to bed I always brush my teeth and use mouthwash. sometimes I wash my face too, depends on how I feel. I also always let my dog outside one last time before bed
I also usually check to see if I have any more homework to do, though sometimes I'm honestly too tired to care.
Sadly, I check my phone. That thing is glued to me. I need to figure out a way to unplug. But aside from that, brush, floss, the usual. Also turn on the fan for white noise. I used to need it because of noisy streets but now I need it because I'm used to the sound.
Usually I make myself a cup of chai and play AC/browse on my phone...which honestly isn't good for my sleep. The blue light that is, not the chai. >.< I want to make it a habit of reading on my kindle instead.
