Cosmic Cosmetics [Submissions Closed]

My look is inspired by Chrissy and Francine, the polka-dot rabbit twins. To show this, I made the lip gloss and eye shadow reflect their color schemes (pink and blue), and added the iconic white polka dots. In addition, I added some subtle pink blush and some contouring on the cheeks and nose, with some added highlights on the nose. A dark mascara helps the eyes pop. And blonde hair to pull the look together, as the rabbit twins also have blonde hair (though you can barely see it since their hoods cover most of it).

lucky was my main inspiration for this! i thought i could do something with the closed eye in the drawing so i made that as an intentional part of the look. the bandages and the black/yellow colours are from lucky's design. i made the colours more murky and added some extra details like blood for the halloween makeup theme i was going for : )

Had to hit em with that last minute submission. Anyways, I based mine off of phoebe, mainly because I was told to. I really like the warm color palette, and her distinct blue eyeliner and all that jazz. She also has those tail feathers that have such a cool look that I tried to emulate on her neck as tattoos. and uh yeah, that’s about it lol

I honeslty had no idea which villager I wanted to try to put into this design. So I scrolled down on the list of villagers and the cursor landed on Spike! It is far from perfect but I'm pretty happy with the result, that was fun. I mainly tried to match Spike's hair colour and the golden accents he has all over. I was also going to give her a necklace with a rhino horn shaped pendant, but unfortunately this is all I'm going to have time for!

This look was inspired by the villager Meow who I've never actually seen in game but really like the design of. The eyes were inspired by those make-up artists who use graphic liner and the nose/mouth was based on Cats the musical make-up ahuhuhu. I made her earings the daisies on her original clothes and I drew her a cat hairband because I didn't want homie to have four (4) ears total ^^ I started this in August and let it sit around while I learned how to use gimp by doing the other challenges so I'm kinda proud of how i revamped it from my original bc of how much art practice the fair was giving me :3

My inspiration was Pekoe! I have always liked her style as a villager so I thought I could try to bring it to this challenge. I gave her a black hair, bright blue eyes and a pink blush to imitate her style in game! I left the eyebrows mouth and nose as outlines because they are like that in the game! Enjoy!

My inspiration was Reneigh! Reneigh reminded me of Rihanna and she is an ICON so I couldn't not do her I added her cartilages and kept the emphasis on the grey eyeliner! I kept the rest of her facial features the same such as the color of the hair, her eyes, and patterns on her face c:

Honestly, I was really hesitant to post this because I just noticed someone else had the same idea earlier today. I already put in the effort so I'm just going to post for the participation tickets.

I decided to do mine on Meow because I thought she had an interesting villager design. Her digitized face is something you really don't see with other villagers which I find unique. I tried to keep it close to the original design as possible.

I did Avery ! He's a villager that has really grown on me recently and when I was trying to think of who I could use as inspiration for this, I thought of him! I mean who doesn't love a man with bold eyeliner and bright blue eyeshadow?
So what inspired me was mainly his eyeshadow and eyeliner, but also I made his lips yellow to match his beak and shaped his contour like the pattern on his face! And just for extra details his hair is inspired by his fur, and I added his scarf :>

What i'm entering is actually my second time drawing it! Yesterday my computer failed on me and wouldn't let me save or do anything and I was forced to reset and completely lost the file :'''> But as a bonus here's the old one! I was only able to get a pic on my phone before having to restart, the quality of it isn't great so I decided to do it again. I think I'm happier with the newer one anyway :>

my entry for pekoe makeup! she's my favourite villager. her clothes & room make me think of traditional chinese culture, so that's what i tried to do with her makeup. they use a lot of bright red for eyes, lips, and cheeks. there's also decorative markings for the forehead called huadian. i looked it up and apparently it originated because a plum blossom fell on a princess' forehead and it looked good so other people tried to imitate it with makeup. thought that was a cool story

This makeup look is inspired by the lovely deer, Fuchsia. Her magenta and electric blue color scheme reminds me of the 80s, and her "rock and roll" style is pretty glam rock. Maybe not the best look for the supermarket, but appropriate for performing at a concert or a roller derby bout.

hi!! here's my entry!! inspired by the best dog Bea <3 I always thought she was a simple girl and only did simple/light makeup but she has some glittery gold eyeshadows because she feels beautiful in them!

Unfortunately I'm no good at makeup irl as I hardly wear it, so I opted for the digital version. My look is inspired by Stitches! I was inspired by all his colours, so I tried to incorporate his main colours into the makeup.

i am not good at digital art so im sorry for the blotchiness but i did a merengue themed look! i thought whiteish hair was fitting and made sure to add lots of pinks and greens. instead of adding a red strawberry nose i just added one on the cheek

Here's my entry. I decided to base mine on Skye the Normal Wolf villager. Now, I know nothing about make up, but I tried to make it as artistic as possible without going overboard. I used mostly light blue and white; essentially Skye's colour palette, and tried my hardest to convey cloud-like patterns in the eye shadow to match her cloud-aethestic. Along with this, I added streaks of paint on the cheeks, doing my best to make it look like a painted sky (I know this isn't typical in normal make up routines, but hey I wanted to try something different ). The rest is mostly self-explanatory, with lots of blues and whites being used, and I also added some very subtle glitter for highlights (because I heard that was a thing).

I chose Wolfgang as he was one of my first animals in New Leaf. I was over the moon when he rocked up at my campsite in NH and I absolutely adore him. He is cute and funny and gives me the feeling that he ~cares~ about me (though I guess that sounds weird). He's just adorable.

I used her clothing color scheme, purple and blue, for most of the makeup as you can see. Reneigh gives me hippie vibes and that’s why I added face paint. Then for the eyes I used magenta and added blue eyeliner under her eyes. I also gave her the hair clips Reneigh wears. My character has vitiligo if you were wondering :>
