Ran out of inspiration

I did mine on one of the best girls Celeste. I gave her glitter eye liner (I love glitter) and tried to give her a 'stars in the eyes' look (the glowy eye). Her lipstick is based off of her beak, eyebrows after her fluffy things and the other eyeliner is based off of her wings. I also put stars in her hair like little confetti glitter pieces.

i'm so mad at myself, this was the event i was looking forward to most and i waited too long haha, unfortunately i have work all this week and i'm not sure i would find the energy after work, it took me so long to complete it (not sure how) that it got dark outside so sorry about the low quality images!

this is my look! i couldn't choose between the two lovebirds so i chose both lol! pink on one half of my face to represent reese and blue to represent cyrus! i wanted this to be a wedding look so i added a veil as well lmao, i added a lot of hearts to represent their feelings for each other! i hand drew them so they're a little squint haha, but it comes from the heart. i also added a lot of glitter on my eyelids and did my very first cut crease :0 sadly it's kind of hard to see bc of the bad quality. i rly enjoyed doing this though, i love make up even if i'm bad at it, i imagine reese wears a lot of it! it was fun doing a blue eyeshadow, i've never worked with that before in my life haha. i added a few images, not sure why they're all similarly bad quality, hope that's ok! if not let me know and i'll delete!

Here's my entry!

My look is inspired by my favorite villager, Filbert. I used a lot of blue with some white to match his colors. Rather than going for a full blue face, I focused on the eyes and based it off of the design on his tail, which is primarily his light blue color with a streak of white and navy blue. I wanted it to be "soft" since that's how he comes off to me, so I also used the soft pink of his cheeks and a faded blue lipstick look.

Mine is based on Pietro! I didn't really try to actually make the face look like him, rather the makeup itself is inspired by him. Specifically, the rainbows above the eyes match his rainbow color scheme, and the heart/tear markings are his as well. I loved doing the rainbow eye-shadow! Also I made the hair a green-purple gradient so that it would balance out the warmer colors of the face

I really like Spike's gold and orange aesthetic which is why I chose him for my entry. I really didn't want to do an irl face but the printers broke and I can't do digital. Had fun with it, the picture makes my makeup look a lot lighter than it is. Went reasonably simplistic rather than trying to do an exact replica. Tempted to get Spike on my island now, he's a pretty cool rhino.

Okay, I have decided I have messed with this enough, so here is my entry!

I based this makeup look off Jack! My inspiration for it wasn't to be a replica of him, but to be what I think is under Jack's pumpkin hood. His name in Japan is "Pumpking", which always has made me think there is a skeleton underneath because of the movie "Nightmare Before Christmas". I think he just wears a pumpkin head, gloves, and boots, because he is self-conscience about having no skin

On that weirdly emotional note, Trick or Treat?

So for my entry, my look was inspired by Freckles. I made the hair brown to match Freckles' hair color, made the lipstick yellow to match Freckles' beak and made the eyeshadow pink to match her skin color. Since Freckles' eyes are near her cheeks, I decided to have what would be her cheek blush be orange semi-circles that go through the eyes (not full circles, as her eyes don't cut fully into her cheek blush). As well, I matched her freckles pattern with some pink freckles, going with her pink skin color over the typical light-gray color of her freckles as I felt it would help make them stand out better.

Instead of a character as much, I decided to base mine off of a general 'dreaming of space' theme!
Its meant to look like someone dreaming of the animal crossing sky, with different references (balloon, pete, celeste and gulliver) as you get higher into space

Here's my entry! I decided to do a Sherb coloured theme, as he is a little angel. Blue eyes and contour, keeping it simple for the lazy that he is c: I did blues and dark blues, and tried to incorporate some yellow, as his ears are that colour, but it's not actually visable

When you think makeup and animal crossing... you have to think of Jambette! While I'm not really a makeup person, I'm obsessed with the idea of putting googly eyes above lips. To keep with the Jambette look, give yourself some blue eyeshadow and some green contouring -- you can do whatever you want with your hair and eyes: the main focus is and always will be Jambette. You're just the backdrop for her.
if you have facial hair, you're just giving jambette a wig, so that's a win too, right?

AHAHAHA this is the most terrifying thing i have ever seen, anyway i decided to honor my favorite character roald by painting his beautiful face onto my face. i used creme color to recreate his iconic blue skin and eyes, and cut out a paper beak. i'm also wearing a red flannel because that's his favorite shirt

I ended up settling on Stitches, as he's one of those villagers that are just super cute and easy to fall for. I appreciate the asymmetry in his aesthetic, and knowing that coloured mascara exists, it felt right to mimic his ears for the eye makeup. I also wanted to incorporate his little X eyes into the look, and whenever I used to play around with makeup, I liked doing little patterns below my eyes, so that's exactly where I put them. I probably should have made them the corresponding arm colours, but I did the legs instead. Oh well.

Based my entry on Serena from city folk! I added her earings and headband/crown for accessories along with the main gold + pink/purple makeup. It may be a bit hard to see but I did use a glitter brush around the cheeks, lips, and eyelids! I wanted to make it a little fun but still keep a look you could wear normally/a bit casually.

Even though I don't do any sort of makeup in reality, I thought it would be fun to give this event a try! Since Puddles was one of my very first villagers back in the GameCube days and being one of my favorite villagers overall, I decided that it would be appropriate to do my work in commemoration of her. It truly brings back memories of a time when life was simpler and carefree! I went digital on this and tried to get the colors as close as possible using art from one of the games. I think it came out pretty good!
