Lol, I had same thought process. The flowery painting was already gone, so I thought that couldn't be it. I thought it was raid the museum. Glad to see I wasn't the only one.For #2 I thought he already took the flowery painting because in the message it said the frame was empty. Then Rocket says that he is going to raid the musuem, so I answered that he was going to steal paintings from the museum. To me the flowers painting was already stolen and he was going back for more. ( I’m not arguing or anything just explaining my obviously wrong thought process)

Had "red-handed" been submitted on it's own it would have been incorrect. We asked for the method used to catch the crook. I realise English is a second language for both* of you so I'm not sure if this could have been misinterpreted in translation.
*I think it is in Mick's case, anyway!

I managed to get all of them - this event was tons of fun! but I didn't actually manage to figure out the logic behind the third one - I just figured out obvious words and filled in the gaps from there. was there an obvious logic I was missing?
Yeah my mother tongue is Swedish so therefore I doubted myself since it was an idiom as well.
I'd say it's idiomatically how he could have been caught so there is that but yeah, glad I went with the actual method.
I uh. Answered both 2 and 3 correctly, just framed both in full sentences for clarity, and no accepted? ;-;

this was a fun event! I found finding the cipher to be really fun. Round one was really straightforward in that the first letter in the name of the fruit shown was the sign, and some of the fruits i didn’t know but you can kinda just fill in the blanks for/PoE
round 2 is also pretty straightforward since the key is just laying out the alphabet and finding which letter is the “new start” of the alphabet. So like, if S was the key, you’d assign S to A, T to B, U to C and keep going down. all you really need to do is just find a space you know for sure is a letter (i think contradictions/lone letter words the best for figuring that out) and work from there
round 3 took me a little longer, but i knew since it was a letter, the first word was probably “Dear” and the beginning of the body had a 3 letter contradiction that was easy to figure out. so after you deduce those it was just PoE to figure out what works make sense
this event was basically just find the key, and it’ll all fall into place. very fun!

This is how I worked out mine too!
I can confirm that it is indeed a second language to me! I do use it so much that at this point, I think I write it better than my native one haha. I know what it means! Just wanted to cover all my bases in the answer.
We don't need Booker and Copper. We have Mira, Kid Cat and Big Top and they are doing just fine!
I figured the frame could be empty because Redd was going to replace the one in the museum with a forgery and take the real one back to the boat. Then again, he does sell both real and fake art for the same price so maybe this wasn't the plan after all.
