New Year Reflections

My goals

1. Eat more often. I?ve been under eating and that is dangerous and not good. I?m going to eat more slowly but surely so I feel better and have more energy for the day. I need to maintain a healthy eating habit and overall improve it so I can have an appetite to eat and enjoy the food I love more.

2. Be more confident. Before doing big things etc, I often doubt myself about whether I can actually accomplish it or not. By being more confident, I won?t be as anxious and worry about the worst case scenario. Having a positive mindset will help especially for the next goal.

3. Reduce stress. A lot has happened and it brought me a ton of stress. But a lot of it isn?t healthy and can bring dangerous effects to my mental health. Thinking of the good rather than the bad will help and I?ll do what I can to calm down in stressful situations. I?ll have the the support of friends which brings me to the next goal.

4. Spend more time with people that matter. I want to spend more time with the friends I already have and the wonderful people I?ve met. They bring laughs, smiles and unforgettable memories. They are there to support and help go through the bad times. True friendship is very valuable.

5. Take small steps and don?t be discouraged. Goals can?t be completed in a week or any short amount of time. I need to be patient and don?t feel discouraged when I don?t see major changes right away. Overtime, the small steps will become key to see change and potential. There will be bumps along the way but I won?t them stop me from seeing the good. The past holds valuable lessons for the future.

Goal 1: To paint more, and be more creative in general. Hopefully I will find more time for this next year (2020) to paint more and do more creative stuff as well when classes doesn?t get as stressful. I definitely see myself doing this forever and if not for a living definitely as a larger-scale hobby?maybe making money off it in the future who knows. Definitely gonna set aside more time for it, and buy better supplies.
Goal 2: Lose some weight and eat even more healthy. Yeah some of you might have seen me posting about it already, but I definitely need to burn some fat on my butt and thighs and hopefully I will continue this well into the next decade. While I probably won?t be able to exercise much until summer due to work and uni though I already started to eat healthier!
Goal 3: Listen more to myself and what I want, and relax: Yeah, in more words don?t stress too much, say no more if I don?t want stuff and don?t take too much responsibility if I don?t need it. In general just relax more and take it easy and don?t take things too personal.
Goal 4: Get more Tortimer collectibles: Which I probably will be able to get if I get all the mementos I need. A top row with Tortimers and bottom row, Kapp?n doll, that?d be epic. Turts and torts for the hippie turtle queen.
Goal 5: Embrace my inner hippie and live more free: As in trying to live more free, break up bad relationships with people, and hopefully at some point live on my own as well, even if that might take some more time than other goals. For me it also includes not signing up for things I don?t need to have and not register, buy or get stuff I simply don?t need. I also dislike clutter with stuff I don?t use.

1. Exercise more! I already walk to / from school but I want to get a little more active in general. I'm in decent shape but want to build a little more muscle and improve my upper body strength. Maybe I'll invest in Ring Fit Adventure (Is that what it's called?) or crack out the wii balance board for some good old wii fit.

2. Be kinder! In person, I am aware I come off as standoffish so I want to be more welcoming to those around me and hopefully make some new friends. I don't want to scare off people before they even know me!

3. Eat better! I've already been making great steps towards this in 2019 but could still improve. More fruit and veg each day is my main goal, I find it hard to always get a lot in.

4. Survive the Stress! I'm well aware that my school work is getting tougher and I'm starting to hate it with a passion. I have 5 terms left so need to make it through. Ultimately, my health comes first and I must remember to do what's best for me.

5. Get a job. While it's difficult because it may hinder me seeing my dad, I want to try and find something so I can get some good experience.

I hope my poor art skills are good enough. :p

1. Take time to do more than just play video games. I love playing video games and I don?t want to stop that, but I do want to spend more time being productive. I want to spend time reading more and get back in to drawing. My fianc? keeps suggesting I should try to teach myself something new by watching tutorials to help me find goals. For example I want to learn 3D modeling. My brother has a 3D printer so it would be cool to design some of my own things!
2. Take better care of myself. I haven?t had the best diet these past few years and I?m afraid it?s starting to show in my health. I have a lot more health problems than I?d like to admit and eating better and getting back into shape could really help! And drinking more water and cutting out basically all the other stuff would be great too!
3. Get a new pet. I have been dying to get a kitty cat for so long! I haven?t had one of my own in quite a few years. Oddly enough, my dog doesn?t get along with other dogs but likes cats. I think a cat would be good company for him when my fianc? and I aren?t home. And I just love cats so much! They can be so cuddly and sweet!
4. Get a new job! I have been working retail for the past 10 years now and I am so tired of it! It really takes a lot out of you. I miss out on spending a lot of time with my family during the holidays and I really hate it. I would like to find your typical Monday ? Friday type job that gives me most holidays off!
5. Control my spending habits. Sometimes I?m pretty good with my finances but lately I haven?t been. It?s nothing too out of control but I do need to reign it in a little. I would like to pay off my credit cards and stop using them so much. I have been debt free so many times to only get myself back into not too long later.

Sorry I am out of practice. It looks like a rabbit/cat mix. So really this could also double as goal 1 as well! lol

1. Be more enthusiastic. I know this sounds basic but I this is something small I really want to improve. I’m normally indifferent or annoyed when I have to do new things or do stuff that I don’t like. I don’t think it’s one of my main problems but it would be nice to improve on it. I could improve on this by being more positive on normal occasions because if I try to be positive around others I would keep the positivity while doing things I don’t want to.

2. Play more sports. I naturally suck at sports so that’s something. I think I should play more sports though just to get some exercise. I’ll set up a schedule for myself since it’s easy to make one and less time consuming. Every three days I’ll play a sport for an hour. I’ll change the sport every two weeks. If this goes well I’ll play a sport once every two days.

3. Study on weekdays. I know my goals are terrible but I really need to study more. I never study on weekdays and I only study for 3 hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I’m not sure if this is going to be easy but I can try. Once again, I’m gonna make a schedule. I’ll start with twice for the weekdays, and I’ll eventually start studying every day! (Even if it’s only for an hour.)

4. Don’t procrastinate. I’m a master at procrastinating, and not in a good way. I normally tend to go off tasks even when I try to stay focused. I can improve by having nothing else to distract me and trying to convince myself I have to finish what I’m doing by tomorrow.

5. Don’t skip breakfast. I think someone already said this, but I need to stop doing this. It’s become really unhealthy and It’s not good. I always end up starving during school since I have nothing and I have dinner really early so it’s normally 16-17 hours with no food. I can get out of bed earlier so I’ll think I have time before I have to go to school.

The thing in the plate is a waffle because I love waffles!

1. I'm hoping to do more routines and chores as I'm literally the laziest person ever. :p I do stay up to 12am and wake up at 7am on breaks like this one during winter break and I'm just hoping to be better at it. Sometimes, I forget to shower in high school I was always a bit smelly during those times. I've gotten better in maintaining hygiene but sometimes I don't eat breakfast or even lunch. I just spend time in front of a screen at all times so I want to do some activities.

2. Like the last one, I want to gain weight. Since I barely eat breakfast or even lunch, I end up being skinny and the doctors say I'm "severely underweight" in the BMI scale so I better eat. I just always think I'm fat if I eat something so I end up not eating anything and yep. :p

3. I wanna play more Animal Crossing. I remember in the summer, I met random people on Club Tortimer and played with them all summer and early autumn. Then school hit and I haven't played in weeks. Calm down Isabelle. >:/ Over winter break, I'm still not playing. I'm not getting a switch since I'm poor so I just want to enjoy hours on Animal Crossing.

4. Be better at drawing. Stop those MS drawings! Ok, I can use MS paint but I want to learn how to draw better, especially with anatomy and all. :p I still draw humans horribly so I would like to get better at that. Another is to shade colorwise better. I always color by bringing the color slider down which is unethical.

5. I know it's kinda weird to have collectible dreams on a list but I feel it's important since this forum is mostly to me. I hope to earn the full house set. I just have the dark blue house and yellow house left so luckily not much left (although those are the two most expensive ones) I also hope for a glow wand set. Another thing is that I hope more activity happens in these forums, hopefully during New Horizons, something happens and now many new members are here.

🎆🎉🍾🎉🎆

1. Buy a Switch: I'd like to buy a Nintendo Switch, mostly for the upcoming Rune Factory 5, but there are other games I'm looking foward to playing, as well ? such as Mario Odyssey, Zelda Breath of the Wild, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Smash Bros Ultimate, Luigi's Mansion 3, Mario Kart, Xenoblade, ect, ect. I haven't heard many positives remarks about the Switch Lite compared to the regular Switch, so I might just go with the standard. I'm hoping to have enough time to actually enjoy these games, too. How am I going to achieve this goal? By saving up money, of course!

2. Work toward obtaining dream items for my collectible line-up: To keep things less personal, I'd prefer to fill up space with this, frankly, sad motive. I really like some items
though when I think on it, I start to wonder: "Why am I collecting these digital items?", "How long am I even going to be on Treebell?", "What real importance do they have?", "What's the point in all of this, do I really have nothing better or more productive to achieve?". I've asked myself all of these questions, yet continue to have no adequate answer.
It's a pretty unrealistic goal, but I'm hoping to someday obtain a Star Rod, Moon Rod, Moonball and a few other collectibles I missed out on. As for how I plan to obtain these items, either entering the rod collection raffle/ other raffles/events or saving up bells for the rest of my life.

3. Learn to play the piano/other instruments: my favorite instruments are the piano and flute, and I love the sound of the harmonica, saxophone and harp. I'm hoping to buy at least an electric keyboard in 2020 and learn how to play that, but my ultimate dream is to be able to play various instruments and express myself through the sound of music.

4. Learn a new language: I'd love to expand my knowledge of other languages. Preferably, I'd like to learn ones that are more common, both as a hobby and for practical reasons. I also find it gratifying to understand how various cultures express themselves or think differently and learning more about their personal struggles can expand one's own perception. Adding to that, I'd like to improve my vocabulary and fluency of each language, as well, though I'm not too sure if I'm dreaming too big there. I plan to achieve this goal by studying, improving my writing (even through something minor like a comment) and watching YouTube videos to correct my pronunciation of words I learn.

5. Think more p̶o̶s̶i̶t̶i̶v̶e̶l̶y̶ comedically. Move forward no matter what, even if all my hard work and effort is pointless in the grand scheme of things, I want to keep on swimming. Swim in spite of how I feel. Swim, least I'll sink and drown. I don't want to dwell on things I'm powerless to change - the world keeps on spinning, despite the voices that cry within it. I want to accept life for what it is (a joke) and quit being so naive and sentimental. I want to look at reality square in the eye and laugh... laugh maniacally.
To achieve this goal, I must first gather a whole lot of c̶a̶n̶n̶a̶-̶-̶ inner strength and view life as more of a parody.

1. Exercise more. For the past few years I have to admit something. I haven't really exercised at all, but over the next year I'm going to get into a better habit of doing so. My parents bought a brand new treadmill not too long ago, so I plan on using that to lose the extra weight I've gained over the last few years. I'm going to get on it everyday for five days a week, every week. This way I get the required amount of exercise I need every week, which is two and a half hours of exercise. I'm going to make sure I keep the habit this time and not make anymore excuses not to do it.

2. Being more positive. Another thing I have to admit, I haven't been all that positive. I'm always so negative about everything and I decided enough was enough. I'm going to practice saying positive things and not negative things. Negative things always bring me down, but if I practice enough maybe in front of a mirror saying nice and gentle things to myself, like "I can do it" instead of "I can't do it," it will help me to see a brighter side of things I never knew.

3. Being more active here on The Bell Tree Forums. I would like to be a little more active here, especially when Animal Crossing: New Horizons comes out next year. I would like to at least find a right time to come on everyday that works for me, because I know one day I will have a busy schedule. I'm going to try to get on at least two to five times a day and post more frequently. I also want to be active enough to help the newer members who will join The Bell Tree Forums when Animal Crossing: New Horizons comes out. I would like to make sure I'm active enough that everyone I know on here can have a good time and we can play and chat together and have fun.

4. Never start over again on Animal Crossing or any other video game again. One of my biggest goals is to break a very bad habit of mine. Frequently starting over on games. I've had this habit for as long as I can remember and I would like to be able to beat a game and get very far in it. I plan on breaking this habit by learning to stop myself when I start thinking of starting over. I'm going to tell myself "no, I worked very hard on this game and there is no absolute reason to start over." I know by doing this, it will help me to stop before I do something I'll regret.

5. Obtain all three glow wand collectibles together, the flower glow wand collectible, the heart glow wand collectible, and the star glow wand collectible. One of my dreams is to obtain all three glow wands, the flower, heart, and star glow wand. All three of them are very cool and I plan on obtaining them together by saving up enough bells to buy all three of them or maybe possibly winning them in a raffle. It will take a while for me to get them, but I won't give up until this goal is achieved.

My Five Resolutions

1. Get back into writing. Writing has been my most effective creative outlet since I was very young, but recent circumstances in my life have kept me from writing. Poetry, short stories, and novels are my favorite way of expressing my emotions, and I would really like to get back to a point where I have the time and energy to invest in my writing. Ideally, I will start small with poems that I can finish in a single sitting, but I would love to get back to working on the novel I started a couple of years ago and eventually complete it.

2. Read more books. Along the same vein as my first resolution, I've let a lack of time as well as other issues get in the way of my reading, which is one of my favorite hobbies. I still read books, but my reading time has been relegated to just the brief time I get during my lunch breaks at work. During 2020, I would like to find more time to read at home or elsewhere. The more time I set aside for reading, the more books I can finish and my goal is to get back to reading more than a handful of books a year.

3. Continue to exercise and lose weight. This summer during my yearly physical, I found out that I had put on more weight than I realized, so I started exercising every night before bed. In the new year, I plan to continue exercising on a nightly basis and also continuing to gradually increase my exercise routine so that I can lose the extra weight and keep it off.

4. Continue to learn Japanese. For the past several years, I have been slowly working on learning Japanese in my free time. I've been doing it solo without any classes or structure and earlier this year, I felt like I had reached the limit of what I could learn on my own. I have found a website that will provide me with the structure I need as well as the additional incentive to continue improving my skills. My goal is to one day be able to watch a Japanese show or listen to a Japanese song and understand the language without needed subtitles.

5. Obtain a Glam Feather. Over the past year, I have been gradually working on obtaining some of my dream collectibles. My intent is to have a line-up consisting of 6 collectibles that represent my first town, Sakura, and 6 collectibles that represent my second town, Nocturne. The next high tier collectible that I hope to obtain for my ultimate line-up is a Glam Feather. I have been saving up since my last major purchase and I'm hoping to sell and/or trade some of the collectibles I get from the Red Balloon World Tour to help further my goal.

A very simplistic picture of Resolution #1. I hope it counts.
20191230_141040.jpg

I don?t believe in making New Year?s resolutions. Nobody ever seems to keep them, and in fact many break them within hours or days of making them. I do believe in setting goals, though, and I would like to make some firm personal goals for myself.
I have found this to be true; that a good goal ideally is one that makes you stretch to achieve it, but not so out of reach that you get discouraged because you can?t make it.
In preparing this entry, I thought of five good goals that should help me reach or stretch and should bring good benefits ... I?m not going to get heavy on the subject, because that?s not me. I will just mention briefly that I have come through a pretty stressful time recently with health issues, and so, goal number one is to purposely de-stress ... I plan to do this by making time for favourite luxuries like bubble baths (scented of course) and lots of my favourite happifying ACNL game playing. I am maintaining four towns and enjoy developing and tweaking them immensely. My accompanying picture illustrates me doing that :)
Number two: try to always be kind. I think this advice is very good:?If you Have to decide between being right and being kind, choose being kind and you will always be right.? In accord with that, I would like to show and actively express compassion to others. This world can be a harsh place and there is a lot of suffering.
Number three: get more active. I?ve been doing good with my walking routine and I need to keep that up! Walking is so good for so many things. Our new house is ideally located to take advantage of nearby walking paths, like my favourite, the local sea walk.
Number four: take the time to enjoy the spectacular sunsets that paint the sky looking out the windows of our new home and add to my collection of photos of these.
Number five: keep working on my art, trying to improve, as this is another activity that inspires and makes me stretch. Another aspect of this goal is to champion and encourage other?s artistic efforts.
That?s it for my goals ... I hope they can perhaps inspire others too.

5 goals I have for myself in the future and how I plan on achieving them?

1) This is probably going to be the most important goal on this list of 5, so let's begin with Cutting Out Sugar, it's the ultimate bad guy in my books. I can see so many good things happening if I can stick to even just this one goal, losing a couple of pounds, not feeling so sluggish, and so many other health benefits, the list is so long it would take me forever to list them all.
How I plan on achieving this is by never going to the grocery store hungry.

2) This one is also pretty big on my list of 5, I want to try to Stop Stressing about things so much (the perfectionist in me), I do not want to end up on high blood pressure medication. I think I have a type A personality, so this will probably be the most difficult one on the list for me to achieve, so I'm really hoping that number 5 will calm my brain down some.
How I plan on achieving this is by completing goals 3-5.

3) Make the Big Move, I've been putting this one off for a while now, you know what they say about moving, it's the second most stressful thing you'll ever do, but I have to stop procrastinating on this one. I do know that once I complete this one my stress level will decrease a million fold.
How I plan on achieving this is by getting off my butt.

4) Get Animal Crossing New Horizons to help aid me with goal number 2, aside from goal number 5, this has gotta be my favorite goal. This one is the most essential one on the list lol.
How I plan on achieving this is by being the first in line on March 20th 2020.

5) I saved the best one for last, Adopt a Pet in Need, probably a dog, or a kitty, won't know until I'm there since most often your pet picks you, and it will be a spca adoption 100%, and will help with numbers 1 through 3.
How I plan on achieving this is by taking a day trip to my local spca adoption centre.

Goal Number 5 Drawing

1. Getting exercise. The nature of my job mostly consists of sitting at my desk for hours, so I rarely get the exercise my body needs. I'd love to be able to set some time aside to get that exercise. To start off, maybe doing some stretches and/or simple exercises! Something that is easy to do at home would be perfect!

2. Improving my art/drawing more. This is always something I've been trying to improve for years, and I'd like to say I'm at a point where I'm pretty happy with what I create but I would still love to improve, especially with my coloring/shading. I'd love to keep on practicing and drawing what I like in order to improve, slowly but surely.

3. Talking with others more. I get really bad anxiety trying to talk to other folk but I've been trying my best. I've recently reached out to a friend from college this month after not seeing each other for a few years now; they're still the same kind and funny person I've remembered them to be and I'm glad we're talking again!

4. Eating well. I admit I like to snack a lot but I don't really eat nice and healthy meals. I would like to start cooking more (besides just cooking breakfast) and eating better. I don't normally eat dinner (if anything, just breakfast and lunch suffice) but I'd like to start eating dinner more often and getting the nutrition my body needs. I'd love to make myself a nice and balanced dinner every day.

5. Taking better care of myself. This can go along with Goal #1 & 4, but more specifically, I'd like to take care of myself emotionally/mentally. A lot of things stress me out like work and family expectations, so I'd like to be able to take some time to myself and relax. It never hurts to give yourself a breather!

I have spent much of 2019 redefining my style to better reflect my personality and identity. So the goals I am going to talk about revolve around fashion:

1) Dye my hair royal blue. My hair is currently a pink-red colour and it has been for a few months. I hate that I can't wear one of my favourite clothing colours (mustard yellow) because it makes me look like Ronald McDonald! Blue compliments yellow well and I think a cool colour will make a nice change.

2) Make my own clothing
. I have reached a wall with fashion. I can visualise a look in my head but then I go shopping and can't find the right garments to bring it to life. So in 2020 I intend to start creating and modifying clothing. I don't know how to sew yet, so I'm going to start by converting a t-shirt I bought online into a cushion. I liked the design but unfortunately it's made from a scratchy material so I've never worn it. After that I am going to take a plain bright coloured shirt and try work some magic on it.

3) Modify old jewellery. I have a lot of earrings I can't wear due to having stretched my ears. They're pretty though so I'm going to try and find a way to take the older jewellery apart and work them into plugs/tunnels or necklaces. It's better than them being tossed in the bin!

4) Gut my make-up collection and think about how to rebuild it
. It recently occurred to me that the majority of my make-up has expired, ew! I already bought some new liquid lipsticks to replace my favourite shades. So now I need to go through everything and see what is still in date and useable.

5) Get some guides written up that I have been putting off.
I am a moderator for a fashion section on another forum and I promised months ago that I'd write up a couple guides. The ones I'm going to tackle first are skin care and how to dress for your size/shape. The former is in high demand so I'll start with that!

Goel 1: i will go to IKEA in 2020 to purchase a cheap bookshelf to store my games and DVDs on. I moved house in 2019 and 4 months later still my stuff is packed in boxes. I will purchase a bookshelf to go in my bedroom to put my stuff on and make my room tidier. While I'm at it, I will purchase a cheap and affordable breakfast at IKEA furniture store.

Goel 2: Goel 2, is my second goel and whilst not my first goel, is still a priority. I will make note of all interesting railway workings I'm the UK between January and December, and then in December 2020 I will review these in a long post on my website rail-record.co.uk for SEO purposes in order to continue to try to beat my competitors in terms of SEO. I will use internal linking to boost my keyword ranking abilities in search engines. This will bring me closer to beating my competitors.

Goel 3: since moving house in afforementioned goel 1, my Nintendo switch remains boxed up. Goel 3 is to unbox this in preparation for animal crossing switch. My Nintendo switch won't be connected to the television because I have no available plug sockets left. It will be docked but won't be charging. I will use my phone charger to alternate between charging the switch and phone.

Goel 4: this is to use my left leg more when injecting my medication. I tend to find using my right leg easier when injecting my medication and so my left thigh does not get a balanced amount of medication.

Goel 5 is to put more effort into budgeting. With my rent increasing next month and no sign of the holiday pay which I should have been due last month I need to save better. So budgeting will help me save funds better in my long term goel of buying a house.

I hope these reflection goels are of interest to belltreeforums
Further to super moderators mes1577813362989242342530375277590.jpgsage please find below a drawing of Goel 1, to go to IKEA and purchase a bookshelf in 2020

Goal #1: Eat Less Sugar. I feel like I have been eating too much sugar (i'm not overweight or anything) I just know it os not good for me and cause serious health problems later on in life. For Eating less sugar, in 2020 I will try to avoid eating a bunch of sugary foods and eat them less often.

Goal #2: Get 1/3 of all the ACNL Badges Gold and earn all the badges: I currently feel like I did not put a lot of effort into my ACNL badges early on. So for 2019, I would like to get them all earned, and get 1/3 of them to the gold level. I believe that this will help me feel more proud of the work I have put into ACNL. I also want to fill all my encyclopedias.

Goal #3: Obtain 600 Hours of Play Time on ACNL: I am currently at like 400 Hours on Animal Crossing New Leaf, and I really want to get to 500 for the Max Plaza Tree. I feel that 500 is not enough to ask, so I want to get 600 hours of playtime in by 2021. This also includes getting the Gold Badge for playing 500 Hours.

Goal #4: Finish Landscaping my Animal Crossing New Leaf Town! I started putting down QR codes in my ACNL town, but I never finished, so by 2019, I want to have all the QR paths down, as well as the town landscaping done. This includes PWPs, Trees, bushes, and plants.

Goal #5: Give more to people. In 2020 I want to be able to host giveaways and be able to help other forum members more in 2020. i feel like this will make me feel happy, and it will also make other members happier too!

This is about all the goals I can think of at the moment, and I wish everyone else the best of luck in completing their goals as well!

This is goal 3 and kind of 2, being the Villager of Honor Badge.

5 Goals for 2020

1) Become more digitally minimalistic. As described in The Looking Glass, I am doing a digital declutter in January and I want to be able to use technology more intentionally. These changes will help me focus on things that are more important to me and hopefully will give me much more free time to do the things I like. Phones and technology take up so much of our time and most people don't realize how significant the amount of time really is.

2) Finish university, get married. This is pretty much guaranteed to happen since I just need to finish 5 courses to graduate, but it's still a goal of mine to finish university, as it has been for years. Getting married is a work in progress. We have a date set but we still have lots to do before our wedding!

3) Eat out less, cook more. This is something that Alex and I started doing in September, but it has been a slow transition. I really enjoy cooking and love to be able to make meals for Alex that are even better than meals from restaurants, so this goal is being amplified as the 2020 begins.

4) Get my first apartment. Alex and I get married in June and we are super excited about getting our own place. I lived in a tiny bedroom with my brother for most of my life, so I have never really had my own space. We actually saw an apartment yesterday that is within budget and will be ready for renting in May, which is perfect timing.

5) Show kindness to people more frequently. Generally, I think people like me because I am funny or eccentric, but I find after years of receiving gratification for making jokes, I have neglected a big part of relationships. Since I'm going to be working in a more professional setting starting in May, I am hoping that I can make friends and acquaintances at work by being genuinely interested in other people, showing them kindness, and treating them well.

Goal 1: I want to keep myself healthy and fit for the New Year. I have already been finding some ways to keep fit. Though, I have recently gained some more solid advice on what more I could do. I hope to use all that I have learned this year in 2019 and all that I know now to maintain a healthy lifestyle well into 2020.

Goal 2: I want to build my dream town for Animal Crossing: New Leaf through proper landscaping and home design. I have a design in mind, a nature versus technology theme. Since I am out of the brainstorming phase, I now need to gather any remaining corresponding Public Works Projects, lay out the proper paths I will gather through various qr codes, and decorate my house's interior and exterior.

Besides laying out the theme, I also hope to have at least 10 of each fruit tree at some point including the perfect version of my native town fruit, the apple.

I would like to unlock the Public Works Projects for the Police Station and the Fortune Teller.

I would like to finish the remaining museum exhibits in my town, which are the bug exhibit, the fish exhibit, and the deep sea creature exhibit.

Goal 3: I would like to be more successful as an online seller. I wish to accomplish this goal by buying Nintendo Switch games at a discount and selling it at a higher price than what I bought it for. I will also need to think about the best way to ship the product so I can still end up making a good profit while keeping the customer happy.

Goal 4: I would like to broaden my social circle through different methods. I will work at completion of this goal by spending more time with personal friends and finding ways to make new friends as well in a non-online environment.

Goal 5: I would like to better manage my time. One way I hope to do this is spending less time on the Bell Tree Forums by setting limits on how many tasks I give myself to do a day.

Picture representation of managing time (Goal #5):

Time slots within the clock are being divvied up by colors similar to the concept of divvying up tasks and priorities in order to get them done in an efficient manner. A very common practice within the realm of time management.
