kinda sad corsola and sinistea both have the most annoying ability ever :[ lol it?s not that bad actually it just bugs me having to see the stat raise/lower animation every single time they get hit, although it doesn?t seem as slow as it was in previous gens

I just wanted to say I’m very happy because I just completed my team by catching a Deino 
I caught it with only six gym badges too! I spent literally all night studying and trying to catch this thing, to prove to others that Deino/Goomy aren’t post-game locked, which they aren’t.
I wouldn’t recommend this as it can take an extremely long time (you’re better off waiting until post-game), but I’m just glad I was able to shed a little truth on some of the version exclusive Pokemon. Also, I caught it in a lure ball LOL!

To do so, you have to get the upgrade on the bike after the sixth gym and go to Lake of Outrage. Keep changing the time until it starts raining. An easy way to do this is to repeatedly turn off and on the auto set time on your Switch and change the day to a day later or earlier than the day it currently is. Once it starts raining is the tough part... it took hours on end of me wading through the grass to random encounters and trying to dodge the big Pokemon until finally, this morning, I was able to catch it.

16 hours into the game, definitely taking my time with this one. 3 gyms down so far, but I've spent more time in the wild area messing around and deciding on what team I'd like to have. Gyms are fun, I like that their gimmicks are different to the usual puzzle shtick.
Hatterene is like the cool Gardevoir I'm in love <3333 no offense to anyone that likes gardevoir lol just never got hyped for it myself. Hatenna is adorable too. Really impressed with most of the pkmn designs so far, glad I didn't spoil myself with the leaks.

I finally got an Eevee. My first one was even a female Eevee, with Modest Nature. But it didn’t come with hidden ability.
I don’t want to spend countless hours on getting an Eevee with a hidden ability, so I may start organizing trades once I pay for online membership.

Kinda surprised you aren't going nuts for the dragon apples.
I wonder if the gender ratio has changed because I am running into female Eevees just as much as male Eevees.

According to Serebii, the gender ratio has changed, but it’s not what you think. Female Eevees are even more scarce in relation to Male Eevees. As of Pok?mon X&Y, it was 7 to 1. Now it’s nearing 9 to 1 (a more accurate ratio is 37 to 5). You were just lucky, and so was I.

Ultra shinies are a thing now.
That's bizarre. I know that the ten or so Eevees/evolutions I've run into are not enough to establish anything, it seems weird that I would run into so many female Eevees if that were the case.

It’s like finding two shiny Pok?mon in a row, without any factors that increase the chance of obtaining shinies. Even if the odds are low, the outcome matters more.

How do you purchase any in-game purchases without getting a Nintendo Switch Online account? I want to be able to connect to the internet in Pok?mon Sword, but I don’t want to do the Switch Online thing.

Just beat the 8th gym a little bit ago! My team:
Draconia just evolved too, but I’m really excited to see her evolve into a Hydreigon. Both her nature and ability boost her attack stat, so she will be a force to be reckoned with.

All games that have features that use the internet use Switch Online so you'll need to get it in order to do stuff via internet in Sword and Shield. If you don't see yourself using it much outside of Pokemon you could always just get the one month plan $3.99 USD or 3 month plan $7.99 USD and just cancel before it renews to give you some time to use Pokmeon online but not commit to paying it all the time. It's only $19.99 for the whole year though and I find it fairly worth it personally.

Game Freak seriously needs to update this game. No Pok?mon should be allowed to have three turns per round. I was fighting 5-star dynamax Pok?mon, and some of these wild Pok?mon are taking three turns during each round. That’s unfair.
