What is the rule on bumping threads again? Is it still ~roughly a month?

I only ask because I'm "banned from Reddit for a week" for stupid reasons.

This depends on the type of thread. Details can be found here on the Rules and Guidelines page but a quick summary for non-trading threads: these may be bumped regardless of age. If the topic is relevant to what you wanted to post, feel free to add a reply.

Exception: Posting short replies like "bump" in discussion threads is not allowed, unlike in trading threads. Similarly, we would like to ask that you don't post longer, actual replies with the sole intention of bumping a thread either (or reply to old threads for other non-reasons like bringing up your post count). Thank you!

I'm curious, are retired staff allowed to participate in events?

Absolutely, though I only recall one retired staff member actually participating in an event during my tenure as staff. Most of the time we see people stepping down when they're too busy IRL to tend the site, so I assume that's why more of them don't show up for events despite being allowed and welcome to do so!

I was wondering because I've never seen one participate, but that makes sense. Good to know, thank you!

is there any possible way to mass delete all of someone's (aka my) posts in a particular thread? or would I have to go through and delete each one myself?
(by delete I mean remove all text in a particular post, like if someone edited a message and left -- in its place)

I'm thinking the latter would prob be better since they don't technically all *need* to be deleted, but I'm just wondering.

We don't delete user posts. All we would do is edit the text, and we would have to do it manually post by post just like you do, so in this instance we would instruct the user to do it themselves. We would only edit the posts for you if the thread was locked and the post(s) contained personal / identifying information.

okay that's what I figured, thanks :>

Sorry for the silly question but I was trying to add photos to my journal but the option to add a photo is grayed out. It only lets me attach a file . I haven’t had this problem when adding photos before so not sure what I am doing wrong. Any way I can fix this . So my photos won’t be at the bottom of the post.

Hello can someone please help me I have a question about how the user title color change thing works.
I am aware the color change title can only be used once but I was wondering if you could buy multiple to switch back and forth from or if buying a new one just overwrites the old one and you need to spend 220 TBT every time you want to change it.
I want to buy a new color for my new aesthetic I'm planning but I want to be able to go back to my old red one and not need to buy it back. Thank you in advance!

For each color you buy one for, it doesn't replace the others. You can buy as many colors as you want! Hope this helps.

you absolutely can buy more than one to have multiple user title colors 😌
