a look based off my fav baddie fuchsia 🥺

i used bright pink, yellow (kind off), purple, and blue since that's fuchsia's main color scheme! i also added more geometric accessories since her starter clothing is a zigzag dress! can't forget about the piercings too 🥴

I'm really bad at this whole art thing and I don't care who knows it! I chose Stitches because he shares his birthday with my mom, whom we lost to cancer in March of 2019. I love that I can have a personal connection with this game at such an intimate level. My mom also loved to knit, sew, crochet, and all those things that weren't cool when I was a kid, but would trade my life to have now.

I'll try again at some point.

i've read the other comments but i wanna be extra sure:

i see that face jewels and stickers(?) seem to be accepted, is it the same with bigger stuff like say handmade/paper crafts etc stuck on your face?

my celeste inspired makeup look! forever wishing i could pull off that amount of blush 🥴 of course she has a star hairclip, and we've got some cute star freckles on top of her blush (of course inspired by her beautiful red feathers). eyeshadow is a blue/red blend, taken from the colours of sunsets. and i mean.. doing celeste for a dreamy theme just seemed perfect! just ignore the fact some of the hair and background looks like a 3 year old got control of a computer mouse...never wished more that i had a tablet instead of drawing on a laptop.

This would be fine within reason (used as an accent, for example). The pieces would need to be made (or drawn) by you. Something like this would be OK:

So I had inspiration from one of my most colorful villagers in town: Julia! She has such sweet looks and a beautiful color palette so I just had to choose her. Problem is that I can't just paint everything in her colors so I used the white and blue accents in the eyeshadow. The lashes were just perfect when made dark since she almost just have them like that. The lip color may look a bit weird, but her tail excists of so many colors that I just had to let that come back. And I've added a little bit of contour so the face is just a bit lighter just like the white parts of Julia's face.

Also colored the hair and had to do some darker parts in it just like on her head. Not really make up, but if you're going for the Julia look this is just a part of it too!

Here's my entry, inspired by my favorite animal crossing character of all time! (isabelle... <3)

Style/Makeup points:
- Light blonde highlights and dark blonde/orange tips. I was thinking maybe this would work with some kind of balayage technique? Not a hair expert though, sorry if I got the terms wrong. A reference to Isabelle's fur color.

- Dark brows and dark mascara! I think since the hair is light, the brows and lashes should be dark to draw more interest.

- Green eye shadows and green contact lenses! This references Isabelle's summer outfit, which is a plaid green vest and skirt.

- Blush on the nose. Since Isabelle is a cute dog, I thought, "hey, let's give her a snoot."

- Leaf and Bell Bag earrings, bell and bow chokers. The leaf and bell bag are shoutouts to the franchise while the bell choker is a reference to Isabelle's hairtie. The red bow choker is a reference to Isabelle's red bow.

- Subdued but pink lips. Since the eyes pop, I went with a simpler lip.

:) thanks for viewing!

Couldn't figure out how to flip the picture on my phone.

Fauna was the inspiration for my look. Her look is simple and gives off a warm feeling to me. Copious amounts of eyeshadow was used to create a deer-like nose. And though it's a little hard to tell from the lighting in the picture, a lot of cream blush was also used on the cheeks to create her cute rosy cheeks. I picked Fauna because I feel like I have a lot in common with her. On my island I often see her reading books or just sitting outside by the river. My apartment has a lake with a fountain in it right outside my back porch. I often enjoy sitting out there and reading.

I'm a little nervous submitting this bc I haven't participated in contests here before, and I don't know too much about makeup... but I had fun with this so here we go:

Bob was a villager I went from having no opinion on, to having as a favorite and permanent resident on my island. So I figured why not make this look inspired by him? :) The yellow/amber coloured contacts match Bob's eyes, and shades of purple, pink, and complimentary colours match his colour scheme. Other elements, such as holographic lip gloss and tinted highlighter, are intended to reflect Bob's preference for colourful outfits. Finally, the painted flowers and matching choker are inspired by Bob's default outfit.

Thanks for looking! And I just want to say that I'm loving seeing everyone's work and ideas here! 💛

My inspiration for the piece is my (joint) favourite cat- Olivia!
I'm a guy with absolutely no makeup knowledge but I really tried to make this appealing.

Notes:
I used three spots instead of the one Olivia has because I couldn't nail the positioning of it, so although while her face is now a bowling ball, it's better now than it would've been lol
Pink ears? I guess they're painted or something to look like Olivias. Idk if they were a good choice.
I gave her a bit of bright hair because I think making her skin pure white would just not be acceptable. I'm thinking maybe having just bright tipped hair would've looked better but eh, this is what I made and this is what I'm stickin' with.

This may be a dumb question but is third party art render essentially someone else's work or is it a specific art tool for certain programs? I don't normally do digital stuff and wanna color this linework with a drawing program on my phone. Thanks!

My inspiration is Pietro.
I like pietro because I used to hate him, but now I love him.
That says a lot about character growth for me.
Pietro isn’t afraid to be dressed as a clown in public, which is very inspirational to us all.
I wish I looked like Pietro.

My look is inspired by the Sanrio villager, Rilla. I opted to create a look based on her design because I am a huge Hello Kitty fan and I would love to see Rilla appear in New Horizons at some point in the future. I tried to choose colours that mirror her design. I included her yellowish hair, her light pink eyelids and cheeks, and her bright pink lips. Lastly, I included Rilla's (and Hello Kitty's) signature bow as a face decal.

Here is my look based on Cherry!
q2oNW57.jpg

I wanted to create something softer at first but once the blush went on there was no stopping it! For my eyes I chose to do an ombre of reds into a smokey eye but to keep my original intentions of a soft look, I chose to add a break of light lavender-pink. In the corners and as a highlight I used a bright burst of gold since I just thought it once more helped to break the lookup and accent it more than add more drama. My terrible attempt at eyeliner is also included, mainly since I couldn't get it off without restarting lol. I thought this lightened up my look as well to keep it from looking too goth. I then went with a harsh blush across my cheeks and nose that I thought had a trendy look as well as complimented my skin tone. For my lips, I did a deep pink base with a cherry-pink center like a real cherry.
I forgot to hold up my name in the original photos here that is!

I based my look off of Zucker! The brown hair is much like his own... hair? Sauce? He's Takoyaki so sauce I guess! The two dots on the forehead actually mimic Zucker's soulless little eyes, the eyeshadow represents his freckles that I think may actually be chalets? Green onions? Chives!? I'm not sure! They're his freckle toppings! The bright pink lips represent his own pink puckered octopus lips, and the choker features toothpicks for spiking yummy fried octopus snacks!

My look is inspired by Felicity. Felicity is a cat, so I took the obvious route and gave her a heavy cat eye look. The blush is an imitation of the blush she actually wears, and I added freckles for a sunkissed look since she's a peppy villager who spends a lot of time outdoors. The yellow and green eyeshadow matches the tartan retro dress she wears. Because she's a vintage enthusiast, I also gave her a 60's flower power themed choker and matching barrette.

I wanted to give her a look that I imagined a real Felicity would wear, so I went for something bold but natural as it is how I see her!

Here's my entry, inspired by the lovely Gracie!
xBmaALb.png

My look was inspired by the fashionista giraffe, with the eye-shadow being pulled directly from the make-up Gracie uses in game. I included the "drawn-on" freckles to emulate the spots that most giraffes have. Similarly, I gave her orange lipstick to simulate the color of her "muzzle" area. Lastly, I include her signature pink scarf, as a Gracie look wouldn't be completed with an accessory! :D

This look was inspired by the Queen of Egypt herself, Ankha! Ankha's colors primarily consist of blue and yellow and I loved that color combo so I decided to base the eyeshadow and lip color off of it! I also drew in a pyramid and the libra scale as face decals, which are based off of Ankha's furniture inside her house in the game as well as an Ankh, as its literally in Ankha's name xD
In addition, I tried drawing the snake on top of Ankha's head in the middle as well as the necklace worn by Ankha in her base outfit.

My inspiration for this make-up is Cyd himself! Some times I like doing really crazy non-traditional make-up on myself just for fun, I usually try to put make-up in places besides my eyelids, i.e. cheeks, forehead, chin. I once did a David Bowie inspired look and that's kinda what inspired me to extend the eyeshadow further down. Plus, with Cyd being an elephant, I feel like that extention really suits him. Ofc I had to add cherry red lipstic in honor of my boys skin color. I tried to include a little bit of this fair's theme by adding some 'sparkles' to the eyeshadow.

the final product does not properly convey how much of a struggle this was. I did this with a mouse. it's pretty eh but I mean what can you expect lol. It's makeup of none other than everyone's favorite rabbit superhero, Mira!

My look is based on the superhero bunny, Mira! It includes her signature mask and partial lipstick. The colors of the hair were inspired by her ears.
