I had hard time to follow so I made my own google sheet file to follow and I have names not on that list.

(and some others that only have 1-2 entries. ..)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that does mean that those who have less than 5 days posted are no longer illegible?

@Pintuition, @meltydoll, are you participating?

We are not assuming that everyone who has made a thread in the Island Journal board recently is participating. Both of the users names you have mentioned have not posted in this thread, so we wouldn't add them to the list unless they declared they were participating. Jeremy is putting up a banner later tonight to alert people to the post I made earlier, so please don't feel it is your responsibility to check journals or chase people up!

You are indeed correct. People who are inconsistent won't meet the requirements to obtain The Lost Book collectible.

My image uploader keeps breaking so I miss midnight in my area is that alright for the day thing? Can I do 2 in 1 day as long as the image and words are from yesterdays? I asked before cause idk if it’ll count

Edit: also I used the image uploader cause I thought attachments take bells is that not the case anymore?

To address the edit first: uploading attachments has been free since we moved to Xenforo in March 2020. We also absolutely encouraging using our uploader over external ones for events (it also makes our lives a hell of a lot easier - processing externally hosted entries takes extra steps and makes us all grumpy). :)

As for the first part of your post: we are looking at time stamps on the post to verify your ten days, so two in one day wouldn't work. Although we will accept two entries uploaded on the same calendar date but spread very far apart. Refer to this exchange below for the specifics on what counts as a day:
Thank you for answering. I have another question. What counts as a day? Do the posts have to be more than twenty-four hours apart? Or is just being on different dates enough? And will you take into account the different time zones to determine what counts as a day? My concern is that posts that I made on dates that were separate in my time zone may appear to be the same date in others if they were less than twenty-four hours apart, so I want to make sure I've been doing it correctly while I still have time to make additional posts, if necessary to qualify.
It does not need to be a full 24hrs apart.

We're not reviewing the entries from one specific time zone—the people working on this event are scattered across North America, Europe, and Asia so the time stamps will present differently on all of our screens—so we'll all be using common sense if there is any date overlap. e.g. if it shows on my screen that someone posted at 3AM and then again at 11:30PM, I can guess that they probably live in the Western Hemisphere.

God damn it I am really slow
So if I do one just past midnight then next one at like 10pm that’s fine?
I’m just gonna use the attachment thing from now on so it shouldn’t happen again lol

Yes, this would count. It'd technically be on two different dates if we were viewing your journal from Cape Verde, after all! 😂

We're not going to hold people to a crazy rigid schedule.

I just finished my 10th post! I can't believe I actually managed to make ten different journal entries on ten different days! This is the most journaling I've ever done in my whole life. I'm sort of proud of myself. Lost Book Collectible - you are mine!

I finally finished! Sensational Sundrop Surprises is complete. It's a (fairly obvious) story type journal that mirrors my own descent into designing madness, where I went a bit overboard with designing/terraforming my island, really wasn't happy, and went back to simple, lol.

I've finished my travel guide for Avalar! At least for now, I'll probably add to it in the future.
This was a fun event! I haven't had as much time to focus on it as I usually do, but I'm still proud of what I've put together. It may be a little wordy, but writing has never been my strong suit. lol

(Edit: I added in resident backyard pictures because I wanted to!)

Just added an epilogue episode to my journal! It's done for real now!!

I loved participating in this event, thank you so much for giving me the encouragement to try journaling my ACNH adventures. I definitely never would have gotten around to actually terraforming my island without the event, so I'm really happy to have been able to explore my game more over these past few weeks.

And belated but thank you for nominating my journal for the first week of staff picks, @Mairmalade ! It means a lot!

aah no i totally thought there was one extra day to do this in so i'm three posts away from the minimum </3 sucks that life got away from me and i ran out of time to get it done for that book collectible but i've really been enjoying looking through people's journals when i've had a spare minute!!

I've just finished the last instalment in the Bilby Isle Island Tour! It's been a lot of fun to return to Bilby Isle, see the other residents, do some home makeovers and decorating, and take some new pictures of the island and villagers. It really gave me the opportunity to remember why Bilby Isle is so sentimental to me. 😊

Thank you for this journalling event! It's been a lot of fun. I have also loved reading through the journals, and now that I'm done, I can focus more energy on reading through some of the journals I haven't started yet. Also look forward to making a lineup with the book collectible! 😊📚

Reminder that today is the final day to add your tenth journal entry if you currently sitting on nine. If you have less than nine entries then you are unfortunately already out of the running. Your final journal entry must be submitted by 11:59PM EST today (Feb 12th).

This weeks staff picks will be revealed later today.

The epilogue is finished!
I do enjoy this contest and looking at how creative some journal entries can be and I hope I could look forward to contests like this in the future. 😀
Originally, I was planning to have at least 5 side stories to flesh out the villagers more especially Marshal's side story which supposed to take place after day 6 entry. But I decided to not go through it due to time 😅 I might redo or continue Marshal's side story. And hopefully, I could post it somewhere in the island after the contest ends. But, I'm thankful for this journal contest for making me practice keeping up with the consistent updates. (and pulling me back to ACNH) 😊

And a late special thanks to @dizzy bone for the nomination! 🥳

I finished my journal finally! I am surprised I managed to do it. I never commit so heavily

I just posted my 10th entry! I still have to finish the story, and I definitely will, but I'll probably take a bit longer in between future entries so I can include more art.

I know my island journal is really long so if anyone is actually reading it, thank you, I appreciate it! And I hope you're enjoying it! It's been really fun working on this island journal 😁 Kinda crazy how fast this event has gone by.

Also, I posted Thursday saying I was participating with the link but I wasn't added to the list of names! Hopefully since I have 11 posts I'm good to go!
I can confirm that your data has been entered directly into the spreadsheet we have set-up for reviewing user participation. This was done at the same time I liked your post.
