• I caught a shiny psyduck in Pokemon Sleep today! So thrilled, was so surprised to see it! It’s my first shiny in the game.
• Had a good Christmas lunch yesterday with friends
• I got two awesome cards in Pokemon TCGP yesterday. Celebi EX (I actually got one of this the other day too so now I have 2 Celebi EX) and Mew EX (I’ll come back and edit this post with some pics ) oh and I also got a full art Leaf trainer card the other day too
• In general I’ve been doing really well, been feeling good. Excited for the holidays!!
• Have a violin lesson tomorrow
• I got Hulu and Disney plus now both premium without ads.

Saturday market today~
I usually come here for the popcorn they make on the day. Lovely sweet and salted popcorn ready for the holidays.
Also, one of the food markets they had ARANCINI!!!!!!!!! I havent had it in YEARS They were out of ham, but got a lovely spinach one. Hope he;s here next Saturday!
Also got a german hotdog with ketchup and onions. devine.

Got a tiny bit of art, and crafts done for the activities, done but plan to do a bit more today as well as play some more gaming since I won't be able to do that sort of thing when my uncle arrives tomorrow. (Coming for a lamb roast~)

- My shift today wasn't too bad! We were busy but not as bad as last year lol. Our team was gifted a box of chocolates to keep us going, and one of my colleagues also bought me a going away / christmas present, which was super sweet of her

- Did some Christmas shopping after work, bought a good bulk of stuff and with my christmas voucher + discount card only ended up paying £2.30 for stuff valued at £40+. Also happy because I bought some food for myself that I've been wanting to try

Today I am getting together with some of my friends that I haven't seen in awhile, I'm really excited because it seems like we are going to have a lot of fun.

I am done with Christmas shopping granted I did not have a lot of people to shop for, and it was very easy to get my shopping done this year.

Happy today because I got to sleep in, and I'm looking forward to -Blue-'s Smash Ultimate session that should be starting soon. I also binged more Fairy Tail and am still really loving it, what an awesome show. Got to talk with my close friend yesterday and they were so patient, understanding, and kind with me. Couldn't ask for a better friend. < 3

I woke-up to the phone ringing at 6:35am. Normally a bad thing, but not this time. It was the Argos guy telling me he was a half hour away with the couch I ordered three weeks ago.

This room is a work in progress. It used to be our study. Now it's going to be a second lounge space / cat room - with a TV & PS4 (and Switch once the successor launches), my desk, and shelving. Plus it'll house all the kitty's essentials like food/water bowls and litter box. I'm planning to paint it in 2025.

It's not even 9am yet but nothing will top this today.

He looks like he is saying, “You got this furr me? Thanks so much!” Your boys are just too darn adorable ; thank you for continuing to share them with us.

Today has been good so far, just a slow start though. I’ve been taking cough medicine. Both times yesterday the knocked me out but I feel significantly better today; will take it later tonight and only once since I can’t get me entries done sleeping obviously lol.

My mom made bean soup today which was perfect since it is really cold here.

I’m almost done with the scavenger hunt in pocket camp! I just need to craft one of the beds and then I’m done.

I got some nice items from the fortune cookie cart when it reset last night; it sold two of the featured cookies for bells .

The five star item was a nice surprise; anything would’ve been good with me, but five star items I’ll even more gladly take since I do hope to get every item eventually and so getting one probably saves me some currency for cookies. I kinda wanted the house since I really love the furniture that looks like buildings. I had been trying to make my campsite look like a little town. I still have yet to complete the look and find a setup I’m completely happy with though. Hopefully as I get more furniture, I can figure something out ; no rush regardless.

Today has been a really nice day off. Got to sleep in this morning. It was cold so me and Aurora stayed in bed a bit longer to snuggle. Made waffles for breakfast then had our morning walk.
This afternoon we went to the store to get some things for Christmas. We are making Mac and cheese and cookies to bring to my brother’s house for Christmas Day.
Made some sugar cookies and decorated them for my gingerbread monstrosity entry. It was fun decorating.
Played some ACNH and worked some more on a drawing.

i got a really big bonus yesterday at work, so i took my boyfriend & i to see the 3rd sonic movie. and its genuinely VERY good. not the campy ha-ha "oh this is kids humor" kinda good but its like. GENUINE. good movie. i enjoyed it a lot.

I haven't been posting a lot because of work, but here are some 'quick' happy points in the past few days!

December 15, 2024 to December 20, 2024

• Since the beginning of this week, some of the holiday music started playing in the main menu when I booted to play Gran Turismo 7! It's one of the things I look forward to around this time of year as it only lasts for just over a week before Christmas. Admittedly, I do leave the menu running for a while before I go on my way to do a race lol. The series has been doing this tradition since 5 which was back in 2011. Though, I didn't personally experience it myself until 2012, so my younger self was pleasantly surprised since I didn't expect it in a car game of all places.

• At work, I faced another challenge of driving in a car that had a manual transmission. Fortunately, I was able to bring it in successfully! The car in question was a Fiat 500 for those curious. No, not the old one, but it would've been extra awesome if that was the case lol.
• I played @/Mistreil's game of Santa Search and I got some laughs reading through the hilarious dialogue. I'm surprised that it didn't take me too long to find snowflakes because goodness gracious, that was so brutal lol.
• I made significant progress on my drawing for Secret Santa! The more I get closer to completing it, the more I feel happier with how it looks.
• Feel free to skip this point. On a separate day at work while I had to move a car, I spotted a Lexus RC F again! It looks very similar to a lot of other Lexus models at a quick glance, but the one detail that stood out for me was its exhaust!
• I reached a milestone in Gran Turismo 7 that I'm personally happy about. After soooooo many online time trials that have been set up weekly not long after the game released back in 2022, I've golded my 100th time trial! It's no easy feat since various car and track combinations were used, whether it'd be a road car, a race car, or literally a minivan lol. It's quite a test to see how well I can adapt to the situation at hand, especially since target times are determined by the world record set which can always improve.

• I was pleasantly surprised to be gifted some Christmas lights yet again! I'd like to thank @/.: Meri :. and @/Xara for their kind messages. Not gonna lie, you two put a huge smile on my face when you mentioned Bug and seeing more awesome cars in 2025.

• I had a decent quality of sleep after days of waking up a few times throughout the night.
• It snowed overnight, so I really liked walking throughout in chilly temperatures. Oh, and did I mention that it was sunny too? I love it so much.
• Work was surprisingly chill and not too busy that I ended up going home a little early which was nice. Oh, but I also got to move yet another car with a manual transmission and successfully brought it in. It was a Ford Focus hatchback, but it's not an ST nor an RS, unfortunately!
• I received some more Christmas lights yet again. Thank you, @/jadetine!
• I had a delicious dinner with my mother and sister.
• I listened to a lot of music.
• I made even more progress on my drawing of Secret Santa to the point that I finally finished it!!! Well, I may have to put in some final touches and probably some corrections since I tend to miss the smaller details lol. But yes, I'm celebrating after working on it for almost a month!

☾ Watched an episode of Hunter x Hunter and episode 19 of Demon Slayer (which was so insanely good??) with my parents this morning!! Later on we also watched some Youtube videos and caught up with SmallishBeans’ Hermitcraft series!

☾ I printed out some stickers for myself!! ;v; I’ve been meaning to try it out for a while with my label paper, and for my own personal usage I’m pretty pleased with it! I don’t have any fancy sticker-making equipment so I do have to cut them out myself ahaha, but I feel like I have become too powerful… I am going to be printing so many stickers…

☾ I played in the ACNH hide and seek session today and had a blast!! Airysuit’s island is so so cozy and gorgeous, and I managed to go undiscovered too!! Mistreil ran past me at least three times and it was so scary and so funny at the same time akjgldhflfkjsd

☾ Played through the last day of autumn in Story of Seasons!! I managed to win the Harvest Festival too, which I was not expecting but am very happy about! Also got myself a bunch of new recipes/patterns and built the spice factory!

☾ I got a good strong start on the current event in Pocket Camp Complete (ty for mentioning it Dun ehehe)!! Also managed to complete the Toy Day Mini-Recital while I was at it! ;w;

☾ I was sent some more lovely lights and another gift today!! ;v;

Last week I worked on my finals and I got them finished! I feel so relieved to get my first semester finished, and now I have my two weeks off where I can rest and recharge. In addition to that, the Christmas event has been a lot of fun so far! I was able to reunite with my Switch to work on one of the event entries, and I even changed my icon to my all-time favorite character. I love it so much!!

Yesterday, we got four pet goldfish! My dad has been setting up an aquarium over the past few weeks for them. We went to the pet store to pick out the fish and I grew attached with the black one. I've affectionately named it Kieran, of course.

Two of our fish are orange while one is brown and the other black. I plan on naming another fish Carmine, but I haven't decided who to give that name to.

My PC has been sitting in a box for several months due to lack of space but I've set it up now so I can do some gaming

I've felt awful most of this week, and my supply of frozen homemade meals ran out, so my diet has been terrible. Feeling a bit better today, so I decided to take advantage of this energy and get some cooking done. And I finally got to use the new Ninja knives my parents sent me for Christmas!

I love cooking, so this was an enjoyable way to spend my afternoon.

I also managed to make my girlfriend happy by reassembling her PC in the guest bedroom after we moved it out of the study a few weeks ago. She's been upstairs playing her favourite game, The Binding of Isaac, for hours.

To end the evening we're going to watch an episode of The Umbrella Academy. We've just started season 3 and it already looks like it is going to be a good one.

I love cooking, so this was an enjoyable way to spend my afternoon.

Those all look really good. You made some really amazing meals I started getting more experimental with my cooking and it's so fun to try different things. I made a pumpkin soup that's more hearty like potato soup. I wasn't sure what to expect, but wow it was really good.

I made homemade cookies. Chocolate chip and peanutbutter with jam/heresy kisses in the middle. I already ate all the strawberry jam ones

But I've been dying to make these sugar cookies forever and finally found the time earlier today. I couldn't even wait for them to cool down. I had to test-taste one right away. They were so good!
