Little Lullabies

omg my brain froze for a second i thought it costed 10 tickets to participate lol t-t

I have 3 that I'm set on that I really like now, but they all hit differently and I'm not sure which to go with. I've half a mind to make a poll and have you guys tell me your favourite one of them ahead of time but feel like that would be too much/break the system

I’d say PM some of your buddies on the forum and ask for constructive feedback! I get wanting to do a poll and get more attention for your conundrum, but I’m also not sure if this is allowed >_<. So, again I think it’d be nice to form a small PM group and just ask them which one best fits the prompt and sounds the most impactful/endearing/alluring, etc etc. 💛

Trying to find out how many syllables on my hand cause I’m a dumbass but still probably messed up somehow

I hope my submission was ok ... I love haikus! I am really looking forward to reading them ❤️

So that weird syllable counter that someone posted regards contractions like it's and I'm as their whole and therefore counts two syllables for them. I've never heard of this in my life, I thought they counted as one syllable because you pronounce them as one. What would the mods/hosts allow here?

I am counting contractions such as it’s and I’m as one syllable. Feel free to use contractions if it helps get your Haiku syllable count!

For the theme of "dreams" can it be used as in like a hope or desire (e.g "i dream for a better world") or does it have to be literal sleeping dreams?

@Kaiaa So I submitted my Haiku to the Private Contest and Event Submission board and select the “Little Lullabies” contest name but noticed there's only my thread?! Did I do it wrong or we cannot see other people's Haiku?

Since we are allowed to share our entries, here's the lullaby-related Haiku I submitted, titled "A Lover Croon":

What is lover croon
An eternal remedy
An angel true tune
Nothing soothes my ear other than my significant other's voice and her gentle hums
