No freaking joke!!!This is probably better consider the egg prices in the US right now
oh thank god for this!! i'm not a good artist but i tried my best. i attempted to give it a slight glow effect but i don't think it turned out very glowy? originally i was working on a different egg design but i saw someone had already submitted a similar one and i didn't want to step on anyone's toes!Q. What if I'm not a great artist but have an amazing Egg collectible idea?
A. In the past, we have noticed collectible designs that had good concepts but were too different in style to our existing collectibles. To address this, we may contact potential winners to collaborate with our artists and revise their collectible designs in order to make their entries more stylistically similar to other collectibles. We encourage everyone to submit regardless of skill level.
I'm going to take advantage of this right now- I will settle and this will be my Actual Entry (tm) . I actually promise there will be no more ideas cause I have no more egg drive :^/Honestly I'm okay if you or anyone else wants to edit their entries so long as it's before I start accepting them.
The winner(s) will be determined by an internal staff voting process this time around, though we may take into account the number of reactions and community response to entries when choosing the winning collectibles. There isn't a proper voting process from the community side so I'd encourage everyone to react to any entries they like because it does help us to see what resonates with all of you. I apologize if this was unclear in the OP!I have a question on the voting via emoji. Will get get a new emoji just for voting purposes?
This is the egg I never knew i needed but really have always needed! I really hope this one makes the cutI'm thankful for the link back to the Halloween event because I couldn't remember the app I used before, haha.
Anyway, here's my attempt at a spring Tamagotchi egg :") I had fun making it and that's all that counts ♡

I was thinking about it and I wanted to do an Animal Crossing themed egg for the Animal Crossing Forum
(if this is breaking any rules, staff can yell at me and I can make the digimon egg my actual entry- or you can disqualify me or whatever idc i'm just doing this for fun anyways)

Ummmm so I’m gonna need that pastel galaxy and comet egg please!!!! OmggggggI made a Seashore Egg!

I honestly just wanted to make an egg that was ocean/beach themed because I feel like there's a lack of that kind of theme collectible-wise, and wanted to try bringing something new to the table.I went through lots of trial and error with this one but I had a lot of fun. The easter eggs are some of my favourite collectibles tbh and I use them year-round, so it was really neat to have the chance to create one myself!
Full version! I drew on a 500x500 canvas before shrinking it down to 28x28.

Some other eggs I made that didn't make the cut or were just for fun... RIP you will be missed. These are all mostly quick concepts though, so it'd be nice to revisit some in the future if this contest ever comes back skfdk. I honestly think of concepts for new eggs a lot so I wanted to draw a few that have been on my mind for quite some time.

I am NOT a digital artist, so I 100% feel your pain. This is the app I used which made life a little bit more simple to get things done when I am not accustomed to layering which I really need to work on because I would love to practice the digital skills that I do not have ha ha ha!!!Is there a thread, or could we have a thread that acts as a tutorial on how to even create one of these collectibles? One where there are some basic instruction and allowance for people to ask questions and those more experienced could answer and guide?
I honestly haven’t a clue on how to even begin, but I would love to try making an Easter egg! I work on an iPad and I don’t know where to start, what app(s) I might need or use, etc.
If something like this exists could someone please direct me to it? I try to search for threads on this forum but often come up empty handed even though later I discover ones exist.
Love your egg soo much

Applied a linear burn in the final stage.
Afterwards, I copied and pasted the whole egg into the 28x28 file, then I used the blank egg fileto help refine the edges of my Chrysalis egg so that they have the exact same shape. I made a couple tweaks in pixel form, mainly to the dots because they're so tiny![]()
